I visit 'The Cottage' coffee shop which is here too. I visit almost every week when I use the EV chargers at the BP Station next door. Great little cafe, with super friendly staff, they've gotten to know me quite well, we have some fun banter. Food is lovely and the coffee ain't bad either. 😉

The cafe is super lovely. Went with a friend today. Myself and my friend and other customers witnessed a rude road worker who came in and misunderstood the price list and they even gave him a refund for his 30p misunderstanding; he moaned about a 30p surcharge when you order a large coffee, this was clearly on the price list but they gave him a large and a refund anyway. Instead of being grateful he began to personally insult the staff. They handled it impeccably well and remained composed. I’m so sorry they had to experience this which clearly shook them up. What is wrong with people? Well done ladies. Keep going. X

Absolutely love the concept of the Arts Centre… I attend a weekly baby sensory class and look forward to a catch up with the other mums.

Unfortunately, on a couple of occasions, the servers have made issue of having a buggy within the cafe.

Now, I appreciate that they are cumbersome and somewhat inconvenient however, a solution wasn’t offered or provided… I totally understand it’s a small venue, but we were just simply made to feel as though we were a burden. I would also further understand if the cafe was busy… it wasn’t.

Due to this, we actually didn’t stay this time (we have been every week since baby sensory started thus far) and chose a local establishment which was far more accommodating.

The coffee is lovely… as is the cake which is such a shame.

This cafe is so lovely, I go every week with a group of mums and they are very accommodating for all our prams and reserve a table for us ahead of time.
The coffee and cake are amazing, the smoothies are also delicious.
Highly recommend.

We’ve been coming to the secret garden softplay weekly since it opened. My 1.5 year old loves this place, there is nothing else like it in the Merrow area. It’s a great place to meet up with other parents and have a cuppa while the babies play. We also did some mum and baby exercise classes here while on Mat leave. Would highly recommend!
