What a brilliant day. Well worth every penny.
Dave was really knowledgeable and we felt safe and well taken care of.
I enjoyed it so much, the scenery was beautiful and we were able to go at our own pace. Dave will adapt parts tailored to your confidence. I had never done Gill scrambling before and was a complete beginner , I really enjoyed it.

I can't wait too book again!

We went ghyll scrambling as a family of 4 for my partner’s birthday and Dave made it such a great adventure. The kids loved the fact that he let them lead, make decisions on their own and negotiate themselves out of tricky situations. He was safe and thorough, friendly and fun. We appreciated the fact that everything was provided (including footwear and something to stand on to dry ourselves afterwards!) and the fact that it was just us as a family being taken on the adventure made it all the more special. We would highly recommend Dave to anybody who fancies some adventurous outdoor fun and will definitely be booking something with him again in the not too distant future!

We had a superb time ghyll scrambling with Dave, with all of our young people getting the opportunity to climb waterfalls, jump into pools, and generally challenge themselves. The kit provided (including wetsuits!) was great and Dave's leadership of the group throughout was fab. Would definitely use again.

Dave is a patient and thorough teacher. During my time as a trainee with him I have learned a great deal and have felt safe, supported and challenged during every activity. I would recommend Adventure Makers highly for both outdoor instructor training and for one off experiences such as caving, climbing or gyhll scrambling, all of which are a great day out. Dave puts in the effort to make sure clients have a really enjoyable experience, and it really pays off!

We have used Adventure Makers for two events with our Scout group, one canoeing, one outdoor climbing. They are organising a canoe expedition for us at the end of the month. I can't recommend them highly enough! We feel perfectly safe in their hands yet have had some amazing adventures. Dave, the owner has twenty years experience of providing outdoor experiences and he is amazingly good at it; his colleagues, Joe and Charley will make anyone feel at ease and do a great job of providing adventures for all levels. The value for money is great too. If you are thinking of an outdoor activity in the Lakes or Dales, I would say, don't hesitate to contact Adventure Makers; you won't be disappointed, I know that you'll be delighted with the whole experience........
