I would just like to say a big thank you to anxious minds, in particular Glen and Jill for all the support over the years. I was supposed to send this over a few months ago on completion of my last counselling session, so apologies for the delay.

Really I can't show my gratitude enough for what this charity has done for me time and time again, and now you are doing it for my friends and family aswell. The support you have provided for us veterans and me is amazing. I hope this service is around for many years to come as it's exactly what the veterans of this area have needed, instead of the endless circling throughout the NHS system, we/I have been catered to and counselled by specialised people who know how to deal with a veteran with issues. Honestly I'm so happy Eddie set this charity up, so a massive thank you to him aswell as without him none of this would have been possible. 🙏🏻 .

Contacted them in November for Bereavement counselling. Had my initial appointment. Said there would be a six week wait. Phoned in January, told February. Phoned in February, told March. They have never been back in touch with me. Still going through recurring crises, but no support offered.

Recovery centre Wallsend. Absolutely fantastic place with so much support for people who experience mental health problems. Kind, supportive and friendly staff always on hand to make you a cuppa and have a chat. Lots going on including workshops on things we face as people with mental health conditions and also lots of mindfulness based groups including art and crafty bits. Love the friendship group on a Wednesday afternoon and they also have great parties! Great place to hang out with friends and chill with a cuppa 😊

Excellent affordable or sometimes free counselling from fully trained professionals. I got very high quality counselling which was tailored just for me. The counsellor who helped me was exceptionally good at getting straight to a deep understanding of my problems and finding fast effective solutions. Cannot recommend highly enough. I feel so much better and for the first time in a very long time I’m feeling optimistic.

Used this charity about 6 months ago and just need to say thank you. If it wasn't for the support and counselling off Amanda and the company I'd still be in a vicious circle and not back in work. Thank you. Can't recommend this charity enough.
