I joined Bare Glazed Studio in around May 2024. It has been a wonderful experience. Carly the owner and Jason, a very experienced potter have made me so welcome. I am learning to throw and the formal training and the advice and coaching after have really helped me begin to master the wheel. The members are lovely, welcoming and friendly. The studio space is great. I am so happy I joined.

My children adore Carly. She is so creative and patient. We love Bare Glazed Studios , the children express themselves through art freely and she’s supportive with helping them with their creations. They also keep her extra busy with chats , ha ha and she doesn’t mind which makes them feel so comfortable. Couldn’t recommend her enough.

I have been attending Bare Glazed Pottery for a couple of years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Carly is patient, encouraging and supportive of all my ideas and has taught me how to handle clay. The studio has a calmness about it and is a very friendly place. Book in for a session, you won’t regret it!

Highly recommend! 15 excited women turned up for a hen do for our pregnant hen and it was amazing. Carly was very helpful and answered alot of questions. BYOB and facilities there all made a fab night. Great choice of items, everyone got what they wanted and the selection of paints meant there was something for everyone. Whole place to ourselves made for a great vibe. Hen absolutely loved it. Thank you soo much.

I had the absolute pleasure of joining a hand building class at Bare Glazed Studio about a year ago and Carly made it so easy to be a beginner. I have recently started using a membership option which gives me so much flexibility to come in when it suits and it has given me the confidence to expand my practice with time on the wheel.
Carly is an incredible teacher. She is encouraging, supportive and fantastic to bounce ideas off.
I would recommend this studio to anyone 🙂

I went with my two sons to Bare Glazed Studio - I had phoned before to chat through my son’s learning and physical needs and whether Carly would be able to meet those needs in her studio - wanted to make sure this was a really positive learning experience for them both. They both have Down’s syndrome and one is registered visually impaired and the other has arthritis.
From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Carly (and Jason) are absolute naturals at encouraging, teaching, inspiring and enjoying the sensory process of creating. I have been stunned by all our creations and we keep returning to try new techniques and learn new skills (in our own very unique way 😂😂)
