Hit or miss.
Some courses seem to be good but my experience was awful. Constant lack of communication, lies to your face plus many others. Certain teachers seem to struggle to grip that people learn at different paces and would just make you feel worse. It left me not wanting to go into college among others. There needs to be teaching inspections like the school system and more regular reviews at least.

Terrible recruitment process, Interviewed for a role about 2 weeks ago said they be in contact 2 days after my initial interview ( 4 weeks elapsed) after numerous emails no response.

Shocking recruitment strategy.

My graphic design teachers were awesome at their jobs and were very helpful.

My experience in this college has been nothing short of harrowing. I won’t lie, the teachers like Jeffrey, Jo, George, etc are really good and helpful and I know they are the type of teachers that want me to succeed given their experience. Plus, the HE students at the Graphic Design course were rather nice and friendly people along with some nice friends elsewhere like Brendan (hachiroraptor).

However, the overall college environment aside that felt didn’t feel welcoming nor friendly in my opinion compared to my previous sixth form as I felt as if I carried the weight of the world. Plus, many of the FE students can be really immature and noisy, generally annoying although some of them are nice. Afterwards, there aren’t many good options for support besides talking to your teacher through teams or at campus and motivation has been a personal struggle.

But the primary culprit (for which the college this time wasn’t at fault but still haunts me) was being there whilst facing my most traumatic and overall worst personal mental health crisis in my entire existence of which I won’t go into for this review. Frankly speaking, this experience was enough to put me off EVER going to Bedford College for good studying for a long time, if not, for good.

The staff are really person centered on Childcare level 3. They will push you to your best potential. Any questions you have they will always put you in the best hands if they can't answer it themselves. Really happy with the college. The learning support team are exceptional so patient and work at your pace also.

Got disappointed the first time as the course that a tutor suggested me to go wasn't the right option for me. Ended up giving it a second chance by attending a HNC but when I call them to have help with the application, they don't reply. I've been on hold for 1 hour, and still no reply
