I initially applied for the minimum stay at LHA Belsize, thinking I would only be there for a short while. However, I ended up staying for three months and would have stayed even longer if not for my relocation. This hostel quickly became my home away from home, and a large part of that was due to the exceptional management and staff.||The management team, especially House Manager Renato and Assistant Manager Linda, were outstanding. They, along with the other staff and volunteers like Thalyne and Issac, and others made my stay incredibly comfortable and welcoming. Their friendliness and support created a warm and inviting atmosphere that made it hard to leave.||The entire team at LHA Belsize was always ready to help with anything I needed, making my experience smooth and enjoyable. The sense of community among the staff and guests was one of the highlights of my stay. I can't thank them enough for making my time in London so memorable.||If you're looking for a place that feels like home, with a supportive and friendly team, I highly recommend LHA Belsize. It's more than just a hostel; it's a community.

Great place to stay in a nice location in London. Staff are very friendly and there is a nice community feel about the place. Would recommend for those looking for a more laid-back hostel experience. Rooms are nice with everything you could need. Only thing I could say they could improve is being able to open the windows a bit more as it gets quite stuffy on hot days.

Overall a very positive experience. Would stay there again!!

Awful, overpriced accommodation.

I booked a single room at a cost of almost £1000 a month. It was dirty on arrival (including suspected rodent droppings) and I was offered an apology and a deep clean. Even after the deep clean I had to then clean it again myself.

The room is in a basement with a tiny window that, because of all the fire doors, doesn't let any breeze through. It was swelteringly hot because the hot water pipes running across the wall act like a radiator on 24/7. The whole basement area is muggy and humid because of the showers and the lack of ventilation. The room also had a faint sewage smell - either from the drains or the toilet opposite the window.

The common kitchen is kept clean and there are a good number of cookers/fridges/freezers. The common areas are also superficially clean (though harder to reach places, like along pipes, are quite filthy).

The staff and management were very nice and very apologetic throughout, and they let me leave early with a lower fee which I appreciate (though still feel thoroughly ripped off for the money I've already paid!).

House Rules Are Not Enforced Without Bias - Frequent Noise Disturbances After 11:00 pm - Condescending Management.

Belsize House Management needs to better practice reserving personal judgements, and therefore more appropriately respond to complaints/disturbances without unfairly taking sides and abusively shouting false accusations against individuals across the corridors to further escalate and create more of a scene; I found this very offensive and upsetting.

All residents should be held accountable to house rules/Resident Codes of Conduct as set out within the Terms and Conditions, instead of management targeting select individuals; after which using correspondence as an inaccurate and unfair account of events having occurred, to justify terminating ones agreement.

I booked a bed in the Hostel for a week, thinking It was going to be like any in a big city. I was wrong, it was GREAT. ||The rooms where very tidy, as well as bathrooms and showers. Hostel rules where respected and people of the staff where very welcoming and friendly. The zone is very fancy and safe. It is worth it the price and would definitely come back on my next time to London. Recommended!

This LHA house is a good spot, VERY clean and loads of facilities due to the great coordination of their team (volunteers coming from different parts of the globe, especially America, both Central and South) and the permanent staff; the advantages of its huge garden and small study room. They are absolutely astonishing, from the reception stuff (check in/out easy and simple) all the way up to the partners. They are superb, very warm, caring people, always patient, and very proficient and prompt.
