Three of my children have been to this school. Considering per pupil funding is criminally low compared with London schools they do a pretty good job. On the whole the pupils I have met have been lovely, well mannered young people. There are plenty of examples of children achieving in non-academic areas and they are motivated to achieve, which is a good half of the battle. The facilities look shabby in places and cramped (lack of funding again) but the overall atmosphere is extremely caring. As with all schools some teachers are more diligent than others but I have been impressed with the leadership at the school over the last 9 years.

Im sure its not better than other schools in the area... But to be honest i was not impressed. It's not as good as people make it out to be. And is in dire need of an ofsted visit. I mean some teachers slept in class... Some just teach incorrectly or not at all. And its very frustrating to see teachers change there entire lesson structure when they are being observed. From nothing... to a full lesson with objectives proper activities. Etc. If they achieve outstanding next assesment then ofsted needs a reform not just the schools.

Nick Taunt and his Leadership Team consistently deliver very positive outcomes for the diverse range of pupils at this supportive C of E non-selective Academy. To quote The Good Schools Guide: "...delivering a Rolls Royce school on Austin Allegro funding..."

this school accepts students with special needs so they can trick them to accepting faith, in fact the mission of the school is not to teach but for R.E teachers to show horrific videos to the class and relish the sight of students scared faces as they lose independent thinking and go full bible sap

Very good school. Mostly modern but in some places there needs to be a refurbishment.
