Me and my partner have been riding here today and had a brilliant time. I have never been on a horse before and thoughly enjoyed the experience. The lady who took us on the hack was Lynn and she was great at explaining how to ride and control the horse. We would highly recommend this farm, you can ride for a great price and all he horses were gentle and calm and very well cared for.

I had two riding experiences here for my birthday; the first was a family lesson, and is definitely one all four of us will remember! My two daughters (6 and 7) responded really well to Lynn's instruction, and managed to get the hang of a rising trot during that lesson. Lynn, Anne and Sarah were all involved in the lesson, and you really couldn't find a warmer, more patient or friendly group of people! My husband is a more inexperienced rider than myself, and admitted to being somewhat petrified at the start of our lesson, but even he grew in confidence by the end of the lesson and is keen to ride again (yay!). I was particularly impressed with Lynn's ability to cater for the range of riding ability just within our small group.

I also went for an hour long hack with three others and two escorts following the lesson, which was a wonderful experience snaking through private woodland and fields lined with wiggly Tim Burton-esque trees. The views were stunning, and we even spotted a bird of prey perched in the woods as we started to head back. We had the opportunity to trot and canter multiple times during the hack, despite the wet and sometimes slippery conditions! I have been on a few hacking experiences and this is definitely up there as one of the best I have ever been on.

The horses were amazingly mannered and a joy to get to know. I will definitely be returning the next time we visit Cornwall!
