I applied for a couple of courses at this institution, but unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned. My applications have either been stuck on a long waiting list or transferred to other courses without my knowledge. After speaking with the college staff about the process, it’s clear they are disorganised and lack the ability to operate efficiently as a further education provider. I’ve decided to abandon my current applications and look elsewhere. I do not recommend this institution.

The worst college I have ever been to. I’m a student here and I started in September 2024 and all I can say is that the teachers are rubbish, there’s no proper communication with the teachers, and the teachers just love to threaten to kick you off the course even tho they don’t know how to teach themselves. I have one or two teachers who even have difficulty speaking English How are you going to teach an extremely difficult course and not know how to explain the topic you’re teaching?! At first I didn’t mind it, but since I’ve been told that I would get kicked off the course if I don’t do well, it’s starting to become an issue for me and other students in my class. We are given no help with assignments, and whenever I message a teacher on Teams, they never get back to me, but for some reason that teacher will message other students (initials of this teacher are T.G.) I have messaged this teacher many times, and I literally get no response from her, but she will quickly respond to other students in my class and it’s become annoying. Don’t come here unless you wanna waste your time.

Don’t go to this college unless you want to prepare yourself for failure. My son does a computing/networking course and has been repeatedly threatened by his “teachers” that he and other students will get kicked off the course for absolutely stupid reasons, like getting a low score on a MOCK exam, not the real one. Recently, I have also learned that his teachers have decided to shove an entire unit for the class to complete within a week, and he has again been threatened to be kicked off the course if he cannot complete the unit. For context, assignments usually take 2-3 weeks from what I have seen, so being given one week to complete an entire unit is ridiculous. I am so disappointed in this college, but I wasn’t expecting much from this particular college anyway. The teachers don’t know how to teach their subjects, and the college is just so unprepared and unorganised. And don’t get me started on communication issues between teachers and students.. it is the worse. Whenever my son finds something difficult, he will message his teachers on Teams, but nobody even bothers to get back to him! What’s worse is that they even read his message and don’t bother to reply! It’s absolutely ridiculous - you need to start hiring people who can actually do their job instead of hiring anyone who walks through your doors, and it clearly shows. And it’s not just my son who has these issues - it’s so many other students too. Incredibly disappointed and angry at this excuse of a college. Fix up.

I am very grateful for a chance to study English and Math GCSEs in Bradford College. Very helpful and attention stuff, always ready to help, very talented tutors. Lucky to be here in Bradford!

A beautiful space with the "Old Building" and "New Building" .

The smaller event hall was gorgeous albeit slightly tired, but tall ceilings and intricate details in the column and ceiling.

Very sensible use of modern tools to old architecture.

It felt nice being in the Old Building.

"I've been a student at this college for six months, and I've had a consistently negative experience with the funding staff. Recently, I encountered a staff member who was very rude and unhelpful. I called for an hour without any response and when I visited in person to get my bus pass, I was told I would have to wait another hour. I hope the college addresses these issues to improve the experience for students."

As a current student and former staff member at Bradford College, it’s clear that many face ongoing issues with poor communication, unprofessional behaviour, and a lack of support from certain departments. These challenges create frustration and affect the overall experience. Improvements in these areas would greatly benefit the college community.
