This club has a real sense of community, the dedication and knowledge of the instructor is outstanding. The club also runs international seminars where you have the opportunity to experience many different styles of martial arts. I would recommend this club for both children and adults.

A community non-profit martial arts club offering traditional and modern teaching styles. The new location at the old Boys Club in Bridlington provides two very large and well equipped training areas. The main Dojo is adjacent to the Pole Dance Fitness suite which is private for those wishing to take part in this fun fitness class. All instructors have a passion for what they teach which is infectious. The feel within the club is that of a family with new members being welcomed from day 1. The club arranges many competitions, traveling within the UK and abroad to tournaments such as Japan. There is some real talent amongst the members and this is showcased at each event with returns of Gold and Silver awards are standard for those who work hard. For those traveling by car there is a large car park located at the rear of the club for convenience. Where to start the mats are dirty they look as if they have never been moped, random objects litter the perimeter of the "dojo" such as a large steel ladder, unfixed seating, cheap plastic weights and disassembled pole dancing equipment all of which are a definite health hazard. The "dojo" provides one place to change for both males and females and one unisex toilet (with broken light).

The training methods used are questionable at best and definitely rooted firmly in the past, Communal gloves and other equipment is provided but it has seen better days and smells god awful.

I wouldn't send my kids to this "dojo" and I certainly wouldn't go there myself when better equipped facilities are available in the local area. I always wonder how these places can teach fitness when the instructor is in his 60s and badly out of shape, my advice would be to avoid this place at all costs.
