We’ve had a fantastic experience with Bright Horizons Crouch End, both with our first child and now with our second. Choosing the nursery again was an easy decision for us. The staff are always friendly, attentive, and reassuring, making us feel confident that our child is in good hands.

We love knowing that our child is well cared for and engaged in a variety of activities every day. The new family app is a great addition, allowing us to check in on our son's day, view pictures, and see what activities he's participated in.

The nursery setting is great, very spacious with a large outdoor space. It was however starting to look a little worn when our first child was leaving but the ongoing refurbishment which was required is already making a positive difference.

The nursery always feels busy, so I’m not sure about availability, but based on our experience, we would highly recommend Bright Horizons Crouch End!

Our son has been at Bright Horizons for a year now, and our experience has been really positive. He is always welcomed in - indeed all the staff seem to know his name regardless of whether they are in his room. There are plenty of activities, our boy enjoys the food, and the garden in particular is large, well equipped and a perfect place for an energetic toddler to run and have fun in. Would recommend.

My son had a terrible time here. The first class he went to was good, with lovely staff, for the most part. Then, when he turned 2 and a bit he was moved to a different class and the experience was awful. Disengaged and rude staff who did not seem to care about the kids at all and who seemed unable to cope with the amount of kids. Lack of hygiene which meant the kids caught all the bugs (we ended up moving him to a different nursery eventually and the kids didn’t get nearly as sick there). Unclear curriculum and kids expectations, and unclear guidance from management. It was so disappointing, my biggest regret was not having moved my kid sooner. After the move, he was much happier and thriving. This was three years ago but I doubt things have improved much. I have heard better things about the other Bright Horizons in CE but I would find an independent nursery who really invests in the wellbeing of kids, instead of a massive corporation more interested in profits.

Not only did my child get grabbed by his shirt by a member of staff which was bad enough but he wasn't given a space for preschool just because the old nursery manager came back and said “she didn’t know me” (clearly had favouritism with the parents when it should be about the children) and that she just chose to give the spaces away when the other manager was already aware I was preparing to bring him back in September for preschool. I’m a single mum who went to uni and after I graduated I couldn’t afford it so they said I could come back in September as all the preschoolers would have left and there would be plenty of space only to be told that and now he’s not in any nursery because of their mistake and not communicating managers.

I have had some very bad experiences with my baby at this Nursery on multiple occasions.

Every single day I had picked up my baby from the Nursery my sons mouth was dirty with food. I have pictures and evidence (Not a one off) I provided clean clothes for my baby to be changed into every day which never happened.

I picked up my son every afternoon and he was in dirty clothes.

The Nursery was exstemly cold and my baby got sick... I also noticed that the staff were not organised and alot of staff being hired and fired and some coming to there on senses that this is not a good Nursery and they have opted to leave.

Stay well clear of this Nursery! I have reported this Nursery to Ofsted

Our daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 6m old (she's now almost 13m old). She seems to have a great time there, and their program of activities and engagement looks excellent. As a parent, I've found them to be helpful and responsive; a very good nursery.
