My child went here from when she was 1 until 2 and she cried everyday I dropped her -she then started crying when we drove towards the nursery and then started running away when her key worker would open the door - this happened for a year - I wish I listened to her earlier and took her out. She is now in another nursery and she loves it she never cries and waves me goodbye with the biggest smile on her face. She always looked unkept when I picked her up and her nose was never wiped until I came to collect her - there was something my baby did not like about that nursery - my advice to all parents is to listen to your baby if she keeps crying and unsettled for a few weeks just take them out you will end up regretting it in the future.

I cannot recommend Springfield lodge enough. My little one has been going since December and everyone at the nursery have been great. So caring and really trying to help him develop. He’s been slow to walk but all the staff have been trying to help him.

I saw a previous post saying the staff were rude and perhaps it was because she was not from the UK. I really struggle to believe that this has been their experience as truly I think everyone at the nursery is exceptionally kind and really friendly. It’s also very multicultural and they go out of their way to embrace all of the different cultures, both with the variety of food but also loads of little extras including the different languages and celebrations.

I’m a first time mum, so didn’t know what to expect but the nursery have gone out their way to reassure me and it really is the best environment for my little one.

My 2 children attend Springfield, the love all the staff and never want to come home, I can't thank the staff enough for all they do for my children and the support they give to me a nervous Mum leaving them at nursery for the first time.

Had to remove my little one from this nursery when they was pushed by a member of staff, prior to this incident I also had to raise the following issues to the nursery- My child not being fed sufficiently and also the children watching TV programmes at the nursery- which I ended up reporting to ofsted as they said it would stop but it didn’t until the report was made. The push was my final straw at this point I had to remove my little one.

I would like to add that every concern I raised with the management at the nursery was really unpleasant they constantly displayed a rude and “don’t care attitude”.

Brighthorizon have many branches and I am sure I don’t speak for them all but the staff of this particular location is definitely ruining their brand.

My daughter has been attending Springfield Lodge foe 18 months. She made the transition from another Bright Horizons branch to this one when we moved house and the team made it very easy for us as parents to change her over but also made my daughter feel incredibly welcome to the point she barely needed a settling in period she was so happy to go in.

Recently my daughter has qualified for the 30h of funding and the nursery supported us with the required paperwork and were able to offer us an extra day too.

As I am a key worker myself my daughter has continued going to nursery in this most recent lockdown and the nursery have facilitated a day change in order to ensure my daughter is in childcare on my busiest days at work. This was hassle free and easy to arrange with the manager and making it so easy at such a difficult time has been greatly appreciated.

My daughter is very happy at nursery and jumps out of the car every day with a smile and waves me off which is amazing to see as a parent!

Both of my sons have attended this nursery and I can’t thank the staff here enough for the way they have brought both boys on. They both thoroughly love their nursery days and are always talking about their teachers and what activities they have been up to.
They have developed educationally and socially, my oldest is starting school in September and I have absolutely no worries about his transition to his new school because of the skills he has learnt through his time at this nursery.
I would definitely recommend this nursery and the staff, they are really nurturing and so obviously enjoy their work.

My daughter and son attends the BH and I have never been happier with the help and support they give them. My son just started in March and he’s 21 month old. He has settled really well and loves to play in the garden. my daughter has been there almost 2 years and now in preschool. She loves the outdoor area, she gets home and talk about all the activities she’s done with her teachers. She loves them and she never get tired of going there. I love that the teachers supports the children in all areas and tell the parent about what they do day to day. I will strongly recommend. Amazing staff ❤️

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 8 months old, when she joined we didn't know she would have several learning disabilities. The nursery have been amazing and have made many adaptions for her. She wouldn't be where she is today without the amazing support that she has received at the nursery. We will be sad to be leaving in September as she will be starting school. No doubt about it I would 1million percent recommend Bright Horizons Springfield Lodge to anyone.
