I just completed my ATPLs with BGS and I couldn’t recommend them enough. This is my second time using their services, the first being the PPL course. Their courseware is up to date, presented in a clear format and their instructors are top class and always happy to help with anything in the revision weeks.

The modules are setup in the most logical way with those subjects that overlap are placed together, this makes revision just that little bit easier. The webinars are great to help understand those difficult concepts.

Overall I would recommend anyone to use BGS for their ATPL study, it was better than I hoped it would be.

I’ve just completed my studies with BGS for the ATPL (A) EASA, and I can’t recommend this school enough! They really are committed to ensuring the highest quality of teaching with very professional and experienced instructors. Furthermore the software used to study and the question bank website are very good and a great tool, together with the revision week, in order to pass the exams! The Staff at Bristol and the instructors are also always very willing to help out so even for a non native English speaker like me it’s been a smooth and easy ride.

This is my second time studying with BGS—first for my PPL, and now for the IR. Based on my experience, there’s no better choice for anyone pursuing aviation who needs flexibility and can’t commit to a rigid live-learning schedule. Studying with BGS has been an excellent experience, from their comprehensive online materials to the engaging remote classroom sessions led by their fantastic team.

Malta School of Flying students have praised Bristol Ground School's ATPL theory software ever since it has been introduced at the ATO. The quality of their training material has proven to be a great tool for the achievement of good results at authority examinations. The presentations are clear, the information well presented, with images clearly depicting the subject matter being covered. I’ve just completed CPL (A) studies with BGS, all subjects passed within 14 months.
I was recommended to BGS by at least 3 people and I wasn’t disappointed. Friendly, helpful staff, offering very quick responses to my queries. The online revision weeks were a breeze and provided useful info. BGS HQ in Clevedon is easy to get to, it’s a lovely modern office environment for pre exam brush up. The examination room is far less crowded than other venues. I would have no hesitation in recommending BGS for online ATPL/CPL study courses.
