Dreadful, don’t waste your time or money. I was also chasing certificates for 4 months, always to be told they should be with me anytime. I was told to come back in and re do the whole lot with blue flame certification and had the same experience. 7 months on from the original course I rang blue flame and they had never heard of me, meaning none of my paperwork had ever been sent to them even though I rang on numerous occasions and was assured my paperwork had been sent! When I asked for the £960 I had paid to be refunded I was refused, and told I needed to come back for a 3rd time! Ended up going to gas comp in polegate, they were excellent and professional and highly recommend calling them before these cowboys!

This is a review mainly to let people know that cbs have gone into receivership. I turned up to resit and they never showed. A note on the door explained they have gone into receivership

Please can someone advise me what to do apart from the obvious never to go here again!! Been chasing my certificate for a year in may to be told so fobbed of so many times I have even been down to the test centre
To be told they are now with blue flame and are awaiting for them to clarify they can accept and sign off engineers for oil
I have been extremely accommodating but unfortunately my wife isn’t anymore haha
I keep getting it will be sorted next week
Ring me on a certain day and blue flame are to blame for this
Please can someone kindly explain how they can keep getting away with this
Any suggestions greatly appreciated many thanks for reading my boring but very frustrating rant have a lovely Sunday

Paid £570 for my lpg. Spent a full day there and my ccn1 has been lost and no LPG certificate. I have tried over two years to sort this out and nothing. Now have to find a way of collecting my money back. Nothing but stressful waste of tine

Done my MLP here and it was an entire waste of time. In 4 weeks we barely covered 2 of over 13 modules. Left alone to go and mess around with dangerous appliances alot of the time while he dissapeared off for over half a day at times.
At least 50% of our time there was wasted listening to 'story time' while we're all wondering when.. And if we were going to learn something.

Steady stream of people coming in asking when their qualifications were going to be sorted but it was excuse after excuse, this place is burying it's head under a rock more day by day!

Had to take my situation direct to the managing director of the training body who luckily helped me transfer to another training centre. It was like going from a kebab shop to NASA!

There was no record of the tests I had done during 'training' however, so I had to resit them.. And shockingly, it turned out I hadn't even sat them despite being told I had!

Ultimately it's cost me alot more to go elsewhere but I learn't more there in a matter of days than I did at CBS, and come out more qualified too.

Now, after having this disaster of a place severely mess up my route into gas work I am finally a qualified gas engineer, who was properly tested & signed off accordingly.

If I had of gone to CBS for that, it would of been a 4+ hour chat about anything but gas and a "congratulations you passed"
And 2 years later I would of still been waiting for my certificate if what the endless stream of annoyed faces popping in during my MLP was anything to go by!

If you want to waste your time, pay alot for the privelage and stand around a 10% chance of ever getting your qualification, this is the training centre for you!

Give this place a miss at all costs, a pure disaster from start to finish
