I was very disappointed in my recent experience of riding here. I went in personally to introduce myself and explain my needs as I am a very experienced rider, BHS stage 4 but also disabled in the strength in my legs due to degeneration/deformity of my spine. I filled in a fairly detailed form about myself and said that I have been riding regularly with Riding for the disabled and competing in dressage competitions. The person who greeted me was not welcoming but the coach assigned was friendly and welcoming. I was given a horse that was totally inappropriate for my needs, safe but totally unresponsive to my legs. A very long way from appropriate for a dressage lesson. The coach picked up my difficulty quickly and asked if i wanted ton continue. I told her of my difficulties and that I could not ride a horse totally unresponsive to my legs. The manager was asked to provide a more appropriate horse but apparently there was nothing available so I agreed to go for a hack instead of my requested dressage lesson. I enjoyed the hack and one to one with the coach but will definitely not be going back to this establishment.

Having looked for a riding school for many years up to the standard of where I used to ride in the 90s, I feel that CEC is definitely a quality riding school.
I wanted to be taught and not just have a hobby/joy ride and my instructor is perfect for that, myself having had quite a break from riding lessons. She is really lovely and teaches me just as I wanted.
All of the staff and children helping out have been really friendly and helpful too, which makes it so welcoming.
The facilities and horse/ponies are great. Everything appears well maintained and the animals and their tack look presentable and just as they should.
My son had his very first taste of riding here and his instructor and leader were both kind and friendly with a cautious beginner.

My daughter started her lessons at caistor. I have now found another equestrian centre, which is a lot more personal to the rider

Even after 5 months, they didn't remember my daughters name and even asked ' have you ridden before?' Because of this she never progressed.

However a few of the girls were worked there was very nice and polite.

Visited today for the first time and Stephanie was an amazing instructor, working on my confidence to get back to where I was previously before moving to the area and having a few confidence knocks. Already booked for next week.
