Great place, the location is beautiful and plenty of activities to keep everyone busy. Our activity instructor Dan was kind, incredibly patient with our supported persons needs and made the trip person centred from start to finish. Thanks Dan!
All other staff were great, always on hand to help with queries, friendly and positive.
The catering was great with everything we needed (loved the school bell to notify us when ready)!
On-site facilities we're good with a great pool area to tailor to specific sensory and disability needs as well as a separate sensory room.
I also loved the grouping of participants where we were able to get to know a small group across the week.
Would definitely recommend and come again!

Amazing place with the loveliest staff team. My first time accompanying two of our residents on their holiday to Calvert. The facilities were fantastic, enabling our ladies (in wheelchairs) to fully participate, from abseiling to canoeing on the lake! Some beautiful walks in the surrounding area too, with knowledgeable staff on hand for any questions. The whole trip was so well organised, with any necessary preparations and adjustments being well thought out and executed. Our staff (Sam and Eric) were so dedicated and helpful, especially with the hills! Genuinely a couple of amazing people, it was a pleasure to have spent time with them. Lovely interactions with our ladies too! Thank you all for an experience we will never forget!

I’ve taken groups there for many years and the staff and facilities have been outstanding. The only problem is they’re too successful and have extended to the point that many groups can now not get exclusive hire. This can be a problem for groups that take children due to safeguarding.
The swimming pool is wonderful.

This was my first experience at the Calvert trust in Keswick, the atmosphere was happy relaxed. The staff were supportive and helpful in particular Jane,Robin,Micky and Henry made me feel safe and secure in all activities.

I would recommended anyone to experience these wonderful surroundings, people and adventures.

It boosted my own ability and confidence by supporting me in doing things I would never have done without this opportunity, I would also like to thank the lottery fund as without their generosity these experiences would not be possible!

Thank you again

It caters for everyone that has disabilities or allergys. Has a awsome swimming pool, sauna and music player. It's got a set menu only for tea. The staff puts on good activities for all needs as well and there are really fun too.

Went for a morning swim with my 11 month old son and my partner. Left the swimming pool with time to get us all changed. On this occasion my son was a little upset so we sat down in the changing room for my partner to breastfeed him. With feeding and getting him changed this meant we were overdue our allocated hour by 5 minutes. On leaving the changing room we continued to the sensory room. As we unpacked and my son started to play a member of staff came into the room where he then raised his voice pointing out that "it is imperative that we leave on time and we should of left before our hour was up". The way he spoke to myself and my family was disgusting and unprofessional and we advise that more training should be given in customer service and social skills for the staff of this establishment. The male staff member humiliated ourselves infront of other customers; who were equally unimpressed with the manner of this member of staff. We were then thrown a complaint form at us as well. Sadly the staff have put us off going again. Terrible day.
