Camphill is an amazing college for young adults with special needs. They taylor the curriculum to the students needs. Have in house OT, speech & language. They do things like life skills, cooking, baking, pottery, crafts, maths, English, gardening, looking after the animals (sheep, pigs, ducks etc). The staff are great, in constant contact with you with updates etc... Just a really lovely place.

Absolutely amazing college campus, catering for young adults with learning difficulties.
From the mini working farm, through to the Pottery Workshop and Textile Hub, there is a vast array of different learning and development opportunities.
It's a tranquil and beautiful campus, which is housed within acres of gorgeous countryside... And it is only 15 minutes from Wakefield city centre, or only 10 minutes from the motorway (M1 jct.39)

Would highly recommend pennine to anyone who has a young adult with learning difficulties, such a lovely environment, such lovely staff, my son started here 2yr ago, we were shocked how quickly he settled in, and how quickly he has matured into a very well mannered young man, they have taught him things that we never thought possible, thanks to all the staff at pennine. They really do care.
