We have worked with Lynsey for both of our Labradors and couldn't be happier with the results. Our puppy, Bracken, completed her training with Lynsey as soon as we could, after seeing such great success with our older Labrador, Inca, following Lynsey's guidance. We highly recommend her 1-2-1 and group sessions without hesitation. We have done several of Lynsey's courses with our black Labrador gundog pup. Starting with the Puppy course we moved on to Teenagers and the Fun Gundog. It has been great being able to do some of the training outdoors, which seems so much better for an outdoor dog. The courses are well planned and are delivered in a friendly and professional way. The groups are small enough to ensure everyone (and every dog!) gets personal attention. We are looking forward to attending future courses and would definitely recommend Lynsey's training.

I have used Lynsey for 3 different classes now to help to train my dog (puppy, companion and heelwork classes), and each one has been brilliant. We have learnt everything from the basic commands, to learning to settle (especially useful in the pub!) to difficult heelwork and recall tasks which take lots of work and patience! She gets to know the dogs well and gives them individual tasks to practise according to their progress. My dog has enjoyed every session and has loved seeing Lynsey every week and being with the other dogs. I would recommend her for anyone wanting to train their dog.

We have done a couple of classes with Lynsey and we are signed up for more next year too. We have done the Spaniel Group training and the Level 1 Gundog training. We have a cocker spaniel and it has really helped having a trainer with lots of spaniel knowledge and experience. The classes are really well paced and Lynsey is very good at tailoring exercises during the class to the specific owner and dog depending on needs and progress. Really enjoy the format of the training and Lynsey is very supportive of any questions and queries we have. Looking forward to Level 2 gundog.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lynsey. We had a 1-2-1 session before going to the puppy classes at Ettington. It quickly made a huge difference with our cocker spaniel puppy who loves learning through the clicker technique. Lynsey’s approach is positive and practical. She takes time to understand your dog and offer tailored advice for the breed. The classes really helped us to bond with our puppy and we’ve continued to see great results with her training since. Highly recommend Lynsey - a very professional and friendly trainer who provides a wealth of remote help if needed. Lynsey has been fantastic with helping to bring on our little wirehaired dachshund puppy who is driven by his nose. In addition to the weekly puppy classes, homework kept us on track, with our progress being assessed at regular intervals. I will definitely be recommending to others in the area and I cannot wait to join onto the next set of training sessions.

Lynsey is an amazing trainer, we are so glad we found her. We welcomed a new rescue to our lives at the end of 2021 and were recommended CTFA’s courses. In early 2022 we started with the teenagers/companion course. The training was well paced and easy to reinforce at home. Simple and impactful techniques that we still use today. We have gone on to complete the fun gun dog course and the gun dog level 1. Coco is not a gun dog but benefits from the training and is always excited when we turn into the farm. Lynsey is excellent at listening, advising and adapting if needs be. She’s consistent and clear. Her courses are popular so don’t delay signing up, you won’t regret it. We can’t wait to secure a place on the next teenager course for our newest family member.

Lynsey offers very knowledgeable, professional dog training. She understands how different breeds function and tailors her training accordingly. We did a 5 week course on Zoom with our spaniel and it was really helpful, particularly when you haven’t trained a puppy yourself for over 20 years!! I would highly recommend Lynsey’s services; don’t let the fact that her courses are on Zoom at the moment deter you!
