1 star is too high of a rating

I was on a level 3 IT course here and I couldn’t rate it worse, a tutor actually got fired halfway through the course with no replacement.

Other tutors would look through work that had Already been marked and graded to tell you that it wasn’t good enough. We had new assignments out practically every day at the end of the year and lots of us didn’t finish on time because of that. Don’t go here if you value a good college!

Poor leadership and questionable tutors. Had a child here who was getting bullied from day one. They did the bare minimum to resolve the issue. Child had an EHCP, college admitted they hadn't read it when he started. Plumber tutor has personal views he pushes on the children.

One star is too good! Motor vehicle course absolute shambles, various issues over the course then finally the correct information NOT been submitted to City & Guilds therefore cannot get the certificate or end point assessment, no contact to advise what is happening apart from when I email them first. For this reason I would never have a apprentice mechanic if they are training with Carlisle College, definitely adding difficulties to an already hard industry!

My daughter completed a Teaching Assistant Course NVQ 3 because she suffers from anxiety and struggles with exams. Her work that she delivered was complimented by tutor. As soon as she was questioned for 2 hrs by a tutor which she didn't expect she fell to pieces and failed. FURIOUS Where is the further support you should not fail and NVQ.

Facilities are nice but was a bit let down by my tutor, gave me a lecture about how I am immature and should me “embarrassed” by behaviour I didn’t even get told about/ corrected on. I was so upset I left and unenrolled that day, then the tutor has the cheek to ring my parent for the next 2 weeks asking where I was and why I wasn’t attending. Tell students if they are wrong instead of letting it go on, how are we supposed to know?

Don't send children here if you need bursary they have out sorted it to new castle and currently I can not even apply due to personal reasons for my daughter like I don't have a printer or computer just a phone which can't complete forms. No help given. Complaints are not taken seriously either from her first year a
whole load of stress. Go to kendal

Watched LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL Tuesday 8th February 7pm at Performing Arts Carlisle College and it was phenomenal. What a musical it was to watch. Everyone who took part should be proud of themselves you could see how much hard work had gone into everything from the set to the acting and singing.
I'm a very proud parent of a student who goes here too.

Through my course I had two tutors, one was helpful and the other left me in the dark about my final grades. They can be quite bias about the students they want to help. Not very helpful when you leave to move onto better things.
