I’m glad I ignored some of the negative reviews on here. Otherwise I would not have discovered boxing. The coaches were welcoming from day one and want the best for everyone. They are doing an important job for the sport and the local community.

Went here once during my student days at ARU. The trainers were incredibly rude, especially the old man (probably didn't like students) and thrown into sparring on the 1st session. Put me off boxing completely.

From the outside, the building looks quite old and dingy.
On the inside, it's a very lovely building with lots of memoirs through the years of the Boxing Club.
No parking on site, but there is a huge car park across the road opposite the building. Not far from Anglia Ruskin Uni.

My Son train's here on Tuesday and Friday with Mid-Essex Boxing Academy , very professionally run and a friendly atmosphere . Highly Recommended .
