As a student in the school, I would say this is a terrible school. This school has major safeguarding issues. Bullying is absolutely crazy and is not dealt with properly. It can seriously affect people's mental health. This school lacks investigation skills, none of the staffs or teachers would help you if you report a situation. They ALWAYS side with the teachers not listening to the students. Harris Academy Chobham needs capable heads, fully trained, quality graduates staffs and teachers. However, this school has lots of after-school curriculum for students and students gets to pick their choices. And I would like to make a complaint, the secondary reception lady is actually shocking. It's very disgusting on how she speaks to me and other students. Calling us names and comparing us to other things and giving me dirty looks. Absolutely horrendous!

The safeguarding at Chobham Academy is terrible. They do not care about the children and are more focused on excluding students than addressing the bigger issues. A family member’s child attends the school and has been consistently picked on, with the school doing nothing about it. When the child finally pushed the bully back, they were the ones who got into trouble and had to attend a meeting, while the bully faced no repercussions. This is unacceptable and shows a clear lack of proper management and support.

Just finished in year 11 at this school and although i had good memories this school is so unserious and honestly dont take education seriously at all, feels like a big social club and students would rather mess around and get in trouble instead of actually trying to learn and because of this the teachers have just been on everyone and its just a huge mess. The humanities and maths department are really good though and probably the only ones i actually dont mind. I also had really bad experiences with a few teachers as they are very judgmental and rude and they do not treat you with any respect ? also teachers care so much about uniform policy and will keep you in reflection for that reason alone which i find extremely stupid and dont even get me started about the lunch queues. Fix up this school !!

I would not give this school a single star of rating. In secondary, they care alot about uniform but not about child's emothional and mental health issues created by bullying. My son just started school and facing threats and bullying from the first week. My child is increasingly afraid of going school. Worst school gives detentions to the child who get bullied.

Been going to this school since year 2 and primary was good but in secondary the learning is so limited! Ive lost count of how many cover teachers ive had who do nothing and just hand you a text book giving you no help or support whatsoever. The teachers do not take bullying seriously at all and treat black and asians different to the rest. If your even one second late to a lesson then you get put in a ‘developing room’ where you sit there and do nothing for either two hours or the rest of the day. Ive seen teacher hit students, call them animals, treat them disgustingly and it will be for the littles of things. Me personally i wouldn’t send my child there for a million pounds and if you love your child you wouldn’t either. The punishments are so bad i know a girl who was doing self harm because these girls where bullying her and when she went to a teacher he done nothing about it. And it was a safeguarding teacher. Honestly if you know whats good for you stay away from that school.
