What a special place this is. This was my first visit and will not be my last. It is a fantastic place for toddlers and young children to explore and discover everything the facility has to offer. My Grandson couldn’t get enough of the various different areas, the sensory, soft play, and a type of role play ares are great. We had food and drink during the visit and it was very nice and well presented. They have a 5* rating with a decent menu to cater for everyone with a seating area to dine and leave your belongings. It has secure controlled access so is safe for your little treasures and limited numbers so booking is essential and easy to do via their website. For the price and what’s on offer this is fantastic value for money. I would recommend reading the info before attending and then be prepared for your little one to enjoy. Cannot recommend enough.

Great little sensory cafe. Perfect for younger toddlers having a great light room, loads of sensory toys and a great little role play area. Staff are always really helpful and give great service.

The price for a session is great and the food prices are all reasonable. I got a cheese and ham toasties and it was really nice.

Highly recommend this place.

This is a fantastic place and my Grandson had a fantastic time as did all the other children that I witnessed. The experience for the children is so good and very safe. They sell food which is good and also drinks. There are toilet and changing facilities and controlled access to prevent anyone just walking in. This was my first visit and it will not be my last. For the price of £7.50 for the child (adults are free) for 1.5 hours of fun and learning cannot be matched. Most of the other play places charge for the adults either as well as the child or the child goes free. The prices for food and drink is on the expensive side but remember this is a registered charity so any profit made adds to the success of the facility. One thing to remember and note is that they do not have a waiting area so you must wait outside until your booked time and I recommend that you book your attendance online to ensure there is a place. I highly recommend this facility.

Such an amazing play space, we'll definitely be back.
Was a tiny bit disappointed with the 'Afternoon Tea' for the Mother's Day special, it was just a pot of tea and a plain scone with jam and cream. I think given the range of food and cakes available it could have been slightly better. The daffodils were a cute touch though ?
Other than that I can't fault the place, will 100% be visiting again, little ones had a great time and there's so much to keep them busy for a small space.

I awaly loved coming to clartabout cafe , always clean and friendly atmosphere however I'm really upset with the owner who I emailed and when calling spoke to a lovely girl on the phone , I explained I had booked tickets weeks ago for today and paid £15 for 2 people. Being on maternity leave this isn't cheap. My daughter isn't well has a temperature, sickness & diarrhoea so wouldn't be making the session and could I have it for later in the week or next when she is feeling better , she spoke to the owner who just said no company policy.... I understand that they wouldn't be able to fill the slot however due to circumstances I'm not in control of should be able to reschedule considering it's a one off occasion and amount of money I've spent over last 9 months taken my daughter there.... just feel like I've not been valued as a customer. So happy for them to keep my £15 and will be telling people to avoid so it's a lot more money they will miss out on.

Took my two girls, 4 months and nearly 3 years, and they had an amazing time. Beautiful facilities, great sensory equipment and play stuff, and so breast feeding friendly a member of staff came and offered me a glass of water when she noticed me feeding. It was lovely and spacious because the number of children is limited. The food was nice and also inexpensive, and the service was prompt. We will definitely be back again soon.
