Had a lovely relaxing week at Collacott Farm. The cottage was perfect and it was nice to be able to see the horses and goat each morning. The owners were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

We had the most beautiful stay here. We stayed in cottage Linney, it's was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for our weeks stay. The garden view was beautiful
Such a peaceful location. The horses were lovely and we paid for a ' day in the yard' which my son and I thoroughly enjoyed, so we'll looked after. There is a small horsebox cafe open each morning for a hot drink, tennis and basketball court which we enjoyed. Game room located by stables for table tennis and pool. The out door pool was a bit cold for me but the children used it several times and lucky to have it to themselves. The owners of this property were welcoming and helpful and around onsite daily. We had a pizza night cooked in the court yard which was a lovely treat from cooking.
The nearest town is just 15 min away with various shops, Sainsbury's and petrol station. We visited saunton beach which was the closest at 50 min away, and waters meet the same distance and absolutely beautiful, well worth a visit for the waterfalls.
We were sad to leave.

I stayed there for 2 nights with my family. It was a family get together. Our group consist of 24 people and each and everyone enjoy the the time we spent in Collacott. The swimming pool was neat and clean and the host checked and cleaned before our use. The rooms and toilets were very neat. We enjoyed our time playing cricket, basketball, tennis. The host provided bbq set and total trip was unforgettable. Tim and Antony welcomed us and was very polite and friendly. Looking forward to visit Collacott again. We arrived expecting to spend a lot of time going out on trips. However the children were enchanted by the stables and riding every day. The pool was a great hit and the garden with fabulous views was the icing on the cake. We spent a happy afternoon at the local fair and the children loved the independence of being able to wander to the play equipment or bounce on the trampoline by themselves. Karen and Richard could not have been nicer and it felt like staying with friends. We will definitely be returning

Beautiful cottage with everything you could want or need. Anthony and Tamsin the owners are perfect hosts with a warm welcome. I wanted to feel reconnected after a couple of years of lock down and Collacott Farm was everything I could have wished for. Period quirky and charming cottages, wildlife everwhere including a barn owl to lull you to sleep. This is real rural Devon at its best and I will be booking again for sure and bringing my kids as so much to do and see!!

We had a large group of 20 of us staying in four different cottages. The site is beautiful and well located. It was a bit of a drive to local attractions (around 40 mins) but they were absolutely beautiful drives. The pool, games room, riding lessons and gym were really nice added extras. The one downside- the place is a bit run down and in need of TLC. There were a few benches that fell apart or you couldn’t sit on, the furniture and decor was a bit dated and old in a number of places etc. But, perfect location, lovely space and very welcoming owners. Well recommended.

Stayed with family and a dog over Christmas. Had a lovely time. Cottage was homely and well equipped and Karen had even put a real decorated tree inside. Fabulous views. Very clean. We enjoyed visiting the stables on Christmas morning although we didn’t ride. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again.

This is the second time here at Collacott Farm Cottages. A great place to relax and wonderful for the children. The countryside is lovely and views great. Karen and Richard do everything possible to ensure you have a great stay. The horses at the riding school are safe for any child to ride with good instruction and the cottages are clean, well equipped and comfortable. Our dog didn't want to go home! Charming, peaceful and I would highly recommend.
