- got to bed (in a crate she didn’t previously love) to the point she went in of her own accord
- turn to heel
- walk to heel
- recall to play
- feeding tips
- toy and treat tips
- learnt to think more about our future dog not current puppy

I can’t recommend enough, Rose is fun to work with and I’m buzzing from the results.

We recently had the privilege of working with Rose, a remarkable dog trainer, over an 8-week course with additional 1-on-1 sessions. Our German Shepherd's transformation throughout this period has been nothing short of astounding.

We completed Rose's puppy life skills course and it was so helpful with training our young lab. Rose is so knowledgable and friendly and gives such clear instruction which I found so helpful as a first time dog owner. As well as the fantastic life skills course Rose offers 1-1 sessions. We found her advice around loose lead walking was particularly helpful and we saw a marked improvement in our pup's walking after just one 30 minute 1-1 session with Rose! We recently completed ‘Life Skills Training’ with our puppy. We found Rose to be an excellent trainer, giving valuable behavioural insights alongside practical, easy to follow instructions. The small class size was particularly helpful and provided lots of opportunities for personalised feedback. We also undertook a one to one training session to help our puppy with his impulse control, which was incredibly useful. All in all, the most effective training we’ve undertaken with any of our dogs.

We genuinely can’t recommend Rose highly enough - she has been an absolute saviour to our 2 German Shepherd rescues. After only 5 121 sessions with Rose, we have 2 very different (obedient!) dogs and we are much happier - and better trained - owners. We’d had a very bad previous experience of dog training (which had set our very nervous dog back) but are so glad we decided to give dog training another go - this time with Rose. Rose has such a lovely, friendly demeanour and her passion for dogs and their training is infectious. She can read a dog (and its owner!) instantly and adapts her approach accordingly. We have one exceptionally nervous rescue dog (who was physically abused) and one boisterous "it’s all about me" dog. After a couple of training sessions with Rose, she’d got both under our control and we all looked forward to our next session with her. In the Life Skills Course we covered and achieved so much - loose lead walking, recall, leave, sit, down, stand, stay plus Rose answered all our questions on grooming, fleas, ticks, worms and more! We’ve already recommended Rose to friends (Cody completed his Life Skills course too) and will certainly continue to do so. Rose is amazing! She has a very friendly, kind and energetic approach to training and, even after a brief synopsis of your issues or needs, she knows just where and how to pitch the solution. I sought assistance in trying to perfect our unreliable recall, obsessive playful behaviour towards other dogs and, some minor Gundog training issues we’ve experienced. Each and every piece of training given has been quickly successful. I have recommended Rose to friends and they also share their gratitude for her miracle work!
I’m looking for issues with my dog now so I can have an excuse to return and learn more 😝

My Puppy has recently completed Rose’s puppy Life Skills Course in Cuckfield. The nine course was a great start to training for our puppy and helped him (and us) to build the foundations in basic commands and loose lead walking. Rose is a delightful, extremely knowledgeable and patient trainer who clearly deeply cares for the puppies, building them the right skills and supporting owners too. As new dog owners, we found the training hugely informative and have learnt lots of general skills for responsible dog ownership as well as managing our puppy who is extremely excitable. We have absolutely found that the skills we learnt during the course have been used in our everyday life with the puppy. Prior to the training we had a small number of 1-1 sessions where Rose helped us with some general skills and also building some house & sleeping rules as well as managing a small level of separation anxiety. Aside from the course and the 1-1 sessions, Rose has frequently been kindly helpful in answering some further questions I have had and has always provided thorough, informative answers that have helped to build my confidence and has also checked back at a later date to check on progress. Both the course and the private 1-1 sessions were absolutely fabulous and I would thoroughly recommend Rose & companion Dog Solutions to anyone that is thinking using a dog trainer.
