Can't fault conlons i've been with them practically my whole life from when i needed glasses and ive never had a bad experience with them.
In my most recent experience i called midday for an appointment, got one for the same day, in and out in 30 minutes and my glasses are due to come this week. Fantastic service what more could you ask for?

We were looked after very well by staff who did everything to make our visit easier. Had an eyetest and ordered new glasses. They let us know when the new ones arrived and fitted them and adjusted them promptly. We were pleased with the prices and choice of frames.

I have always found all the staff at conlons to be very helpful, and professional. My daughter is disabled and has learning disabilities, the staff have always been fantastic with her and made her feel as comfortable as possible, even when she has found the visit difficult. They have always been extremely understanding of her needs and I can't thank them enough for that. Their kindness and understanding is appreciated so much more than they probably realise. Thank you

Wonderful service, I’ve been going for years and the team are lovely and friendly.
Emma who provides content lenses care and information is a diamond. She remembers all the stories I tell her when having my check up, it’s like meeting up for a coffee date....plus she gives you the best eye contact you’ll ever get on a date.

I was with Conlons since I was a child, until they were acquired by a national chain. When they re-opened as Conlons I transferred back to them. Besides the fundamental principle of supporting local businesses, I can honestly say that their service is top-class. The staff are professional but very friendly and prepared to go the extra mile. Highly recommended.

I couldn't quite understand why my misses was being difficult about shopping for glasses. I would say one person in that shop was pleasant and the others seemed stuck up, dismissive, pointing rather than assisting. It was the lazy attitude were they couldn't be arsed to break away from their chattering to be helpful. Of course one lady sitting on her own, away from the chatter did realise we were there to shop. We weren't given a clear break down of cost but I was fine ignoring the little things. I am not good at spotting rude people immediately, so it bugs me. People in shops should be professional... Why else are they their for? I am always willing to spend more for good customer service. I don't know the kind of people they expect but I do expect some folks will ignore it as it is Barrow & rarely do people speak out against ignorance in this town.
