Horrible school. I attended from 2016-2021 and by the time I left my mental health was at an all time low. The teachers do not care about pupils wellbeing and are more interested at pushing uniform policies and ignoring students asking for help. The only good thing about the school was Miss Fisher, the librarian, absolute angel. A couple other teachers were lovely as well but the majority hated everything and everyone.
Thought I was the problem until I attended college and suddenly enjoyed learning again and realised I wanted to stay in education and that I did have a bright future. I am now in University and I can say with absolute certainty that my days at secondary were the worst I have ever experienced. Of course whatever secondary you attend isn’t going to be enjoyable, the teenage years are rough but this one in particular was especially bad at helping people during an emotional period in their’ lives.

0 stars if possible, cannot express how much of a god awful rubbish school this is. Teachers care so much about us wearing blazers shirts and ties and can't change the uniform back to how it used to be. A few rude and unprofessional teachers including a maths teacher who can't seem to control their temper and likes to label and make fun of students in front of the whole class. People like this should be removed from the school or abruptly change their style of teaching as this is not the kind of teaching we should be seeing in the 21st century. Thank you for nothing, CVC.

I would not recommend coming to this school because it's horrible the staff and the students are horrible I sent my daughter ruby here and had to home school her because her anxiety from that school. Was horrendous the teachers treat students like trash

It's an astrea school, focus is on irrelevant and trivial thing like colour of socks and material of skirts with suspensions handed out or threatened for minor infringements wasting precious learning time whilst alienating and disengaging the students , something out of the last century. Meanwhile reported bullying and physical assault etc goes unchecked

Awful school, we took our eldest daughter out and started home schooling. She’s now a completely different child. The stress and anxiety that placed caused her and us is utterly appalling, the upper management are nothing but power hungry bully’s.

THIS SCHOOL IS HORRIBLE they care more about the uniform than the kids and my daughter goes her and they Measure the girls skirts and touch them and everything the break and lunch is so short the toilets are Gross in the bathroom they have fruit flys there was piss on the floor it's a really bad school and the reception people are horrible my daughter went to the office because she felt sick and they said you attendance is to bad so we can't call home then they just sent her back to lessons DON'T GO TO THIS SCHOOL HORRIBLE

Not me personally but I have a friend who went here and was bullied for looks, background, and hobby’s. This is utterly unexeptable it’s 2024 and yet we still have schools like this demonstrating the sheer lack of care and regard teachers have for students. If you have a choice I would recommend you do not send your children here. I understand that sometimes other options may not be necessary for those who’s catchment is this school.

The uniform man the only thing they need to change, Witchford can wear any black shoes they want while cottenham have to wear ugly school shoes and why do we have to wear badges to show our year group. Cottenham is ridiculous that’s all i have to say. The picture below is what cottenham feels like. The second image is the rage I have when a teacher complains about everything we do and when they tell us off it’s just because they feel the need for 2 students to get 0 negative points the whole year honestly roubbish school goodbye 🤫🧏‍♂️.
