If you are interested in local history, your first stop should be the Library and Local History Centre. Located in the town centre, near to other amenities, and a short distance from the Abbey. Crowland is a small town with several significant tourist attractions close to one another. Just bear in mind their opening days. I found out too late that it is closed on Fridays.

Wonderful library with the added activities all run by volunteers who are wonderful too. Book as a venue too as they let the space out of hours for groups ie the art group meets there one evening a week
