Great activities for the children. We stayed a week so experiences pretty much all they had to offer. We were impressed by the range of different food presentations and locations. It had a great outdoor vibe. We were staying in Tents which were near the shower block - this was a bonus for us! The weather was amazing for us, some consideration would need to be made if very wet as would be a different vibe. I liked the look of the pod villages. Would definitely recommend for a Yr 6 residential.

This is our 2nd time taking a year 4 school group to Cuffley camp and it’s got better and better! Instructors were enthusiastic and engaging, the children loved the activities and the ‘pod’ villages are just lovely! Thoroughly recommend this as a place to take school, youth or scout groups!

An excellent facility and provision for school groups. Welcoming, competent staff who cater to the needs of the children by incorporating the classroom curriculum to the outdoor learning experience. A safe space for pupils to experience freedom, explore the outdoors throughout the seasons and be challenged to build teamwork skills by working collaboratively with their peers and nature.

I have just stayed at Cuffley on a school trip and can honestly say the whole experience was fantastic.
The food was well cooked, good portions, and well organised.
The instructors, we had George, Jordan, Beth, Henry and Sausage, and our students loved them and the activities they did with them. Friendly, relaxed, joking with our students, they made the whole experience.
For the activities, we did tag archery, tomahawks, climbing, all sorts of fun activities and our instructors were great at coaxing a nervous student to give it a go, and great when students said they didn’t want to.
Honestly, a really worthwhile trip - thank you Cuffley!

Cuffley have some great instructors (Tom, Tess and CJ). They truly made the experience brilliant and worthwhile. Activities were fun and the team made it enjoyable and engaging. The instructors weren’t afraid to get stuck in and even contributed in our talent show at the end of the day when we had our campfire going. Would highly recommend to any youth org, school etc.

Former staff here
My accommodation was horrendous and borderline illegal due to the lack of accessible wc facilities, the other staff there are great. to people planning to live on site. Dont. Management did the best they could but was understaffed so it was a struggle. Food amazing. Activities amazing. Instructor towards kids 50/50 good and bad.

My 11 year old son had his residential at Cuffley and he came back so excited even though he was apprehensive about going as he is a shy boy. He said he enjoyed a variety of activities , as the staff went out of their way to make him feel welcome and comfortable , he absolutely loved food provided especially in the evenings toasted marshmallows topped it all. He’s already been asking if he can come back .

I am a year 7 pupil and went here on a school trip, When we arrived, they sent my bags to the wrong camp so I had to take a long walk with a teacher there. After 20 minutes I came back and was shocked to find that my tent had a rip which insects could freely come in, and to make matters worse, I slept right beside the enterance. Shortly after, we went to lunch and I kid you not, all we got was a tiny sandwich and a bag of crisps. The staff kept shouting and it was a horrible experience. OVER ALL, WOULD RATE A ZERO STAR IF I COULD.I DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT RECOMMEND TO GO HERE.
