Very pretty Park land. The maps show it as a separate area to the lakes and wood but it is all the same connected area. The lakes carpark is the best located for all of it as is mi permit app payment. Just under £4 for 2 hours so no bargain but the grounds and toilets are well kept so at least the money is being used on the park. Large woodland area (Nash Wood) is great and old original woodland. The County Park zone is open meadowland with picnic tables. The lakes are large ponds intersected by paths and surrounded by trees making them very pretty.

Another trip to Danbury Lakes, we always have a great time, the walks are lovely, plenty of places to sit and have a picnic on benches or the grass and then a kick about with our grandson who's been coming here since he was a baby. Easy parking and toilets nearby.

We enjoyed a great day out with the dogs and had a lovely picnic too. The dogs enjoyed being let off at certain points but we were a little cautious to allow free roam in all areas due to deep ponds unprotected areas. All in all we enjoyed our experience and would return with the dogs again. Such a shame theres a charge for parking, but that's standard these days.

Car park is a bit pricey at £2.50 an hour but this is a lovely place to take your dogs. Has toilet facilities there. Lovely lakes with ducks in.

Good day for visiting a country park 22.01.2022. Two large lakes, 1 smaller lake. Fed the ducks and watched the seagulls ice skating on the lake! Nature trail to follow.
Public toilets which are very clean.
Park is free to enter but parking is £2 for the first hour. Lovely walk but not much else to do besides admire nature and feed the ducks. Lots of benches dotted around along along way.
