I had never played any musical instrument before. I'm 63. So a late starter I guess.
I am really enjoying this. Barry is a great guy and a very good music teacher. I was playing music far quicker than I ever thought possible. And ten months later I like to think I'm continuing to improve thanks to Barry's help and enthusiasm.
If you fancy learning the ukulele or guitar I can highly recommend Barry. I've always wanted to be able to play a musical instrument but I never thought I would be able to do it. If I can do it anyone can. Why not give it a try?

I can wholeheartedly recommend Barry for some sensational guitar lessons!

Barry’s classes are incredibly good fun and well structured. There’s a great mixture of abilities in all classes and Barry is so passionate about teaching that you can’t help but be swept up by his incredible enthusiasm for his students to do well.

A fellow student of Barry recommended his classes to me and I’m so glad I decided to have another crack at learning guitar.

Excellent guitar school. Barry is an excellent teacher who teaches the kid in a fun way. My kids love him. Thanks to Barry my kids can play many songs on the guitar. Barry organises workshops and events so that kids can show what they have learnt and also gain more confidence in playing the instrument in front of others.

My lessons with Barry have involved learning with one or two other students and this has made lessons great fun particularly as Barry will enable us to play together accompanying us with other instruments .
I have been learning guitar for 18 months as a beginner with Barry.As an adult leaner I have found his teaching method to be encouraging, empowering and he has enabled me to get out of my comfort zone by encouraging me to perform in open mike sessions which have greatly improved my practice ,playing and confidence.
Most of all I love his positivity ,warmth and ability to encourage his students to play songs that they like .

Great music teacher. My son has learned to play guitar with Barry and it has been great to see him go from strength to strength.
