Cathy came out to assess our child in school who is transitioning to high school and has an EHCP for Dyspraxia and social communication problems.
I would highly recommend her for her expertise and excellent advice.
We now have a really good starting point as we have a good base assessment with ideas and strategies we can put in place to help him overcome his challenges.
We have previously used Cathy to assess him and advise school on dyspraxia and she has been consistently fantastic and professional in her approach.
Always impressed by her gentle thorough approach and practical helpful advice.

If you need guidance and / or support on anything to do with dyspraxia then Dyspraxia Ed is the organisation you should contact. After finding out that my son had DCD I searched for supporting organisations, Cathy at Dyspraxia Ed was the only organisation that I rang who answered the call and had the time to provide me with the support, guidance and understanding that I really needed. Cathy is an absolute oracle on everything to do with dyspraxia and her guidance has proved invaluable. Cathy has a wonderful way of putting you at ease and just understands fully how parents feel during what can be a very daunting time particularly if you are new, as I was, to navigating the SEND system. Dyspraxia Ed also have a really helpful website and some fantastic training which I would strongly recommend for both parents and teachers to gain a full understanding of dyspraxia. Being a teacher myself I was embarrassed as to how little I understood of DCD but that the information I have learnt from Dyspraxia Ed has not only helped me support my son but also has helped me as a teacher.

Discovering Dyspraxia Education was a huge step forward for us in starting our journey to understanding DCD and helping our recently-diagnosed son. The telephone helpline is an invaluable resource, knowing there is a calm and knowledgeable listening ear available. We have also found the parent workshop videos to be an enormous help. The videos are so comprehensive and full of useful hints and tips that we feel we are now much more confident to work with our son's school to understand his needs and ensure they are met as well as with other health and educational professionals. The videos are from a parent-perspective and a real-life experience and really helped us to feel that we were not alone and that living with DCD does not need to be a scary or lonely thing. Covering from early years to post-university, the workshops have given us a great positive outlook on our son's long-term future.

My son was recently diagnosed with Dyspraxia and in the overwhelm of trying to find out more about the condition I stumbled across Cathy's website. First I did her reasonably prices awareness course, which hosts a wealth of information on the condition., all in layman's terms, which apparently seems quite hard to find. Cathy emailed me directly after purchasing the course, offering her support, which, quite frankly took me by surprise. I contacted her not long after, to ask her advice about going forward with the best way to support him, and I have just come off an 1hr and half phone call with her, coming away with some invaluable advice and a whole lot more confidence or what to do next. Cathy is kind, calm and generous with her time and seems to know everything that needs to be known about dyspraxia and can definitely help anyone that needs advice, or just a little support. Cathy, thank you so much for your kind approach and saying it how it is. I feel a lot more confident that I'm able to help him get the support he needs and deserves.
