We visited as a family over Easter weekend and pre booked online. The site is vast, so I recommend going early. We visited around 1.30pm and left at 5pm without seeing the whole site.
The rainforest biome took longer than the Mediterranean biome, so I suggest visiting there first.
In the rainforest biome, you can climb the steps to get a 360 view of the space. This was a lovely experience but took a while in the queue to go up.
The surroundings outside of the biome featured local plants and flowers with labels. Another space we visited was the invisible world, which looked at bacteria and the creation of the Earth. It was interactive but I'd recommend spending more time in the biomes.
There's a playground onsite and a few cafes. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to visit the cafes. A gift shop is available onsite, and plants are available for purchase.

Beautiful day out. A lot of walking around through the domes themselves. Didn't manage to walk around the outside gardens as it was raining but walking through the domes is definitely worth it. It isn't the best place to take young children as it's a lot of walking and there isn't much of an appeal to the little ones. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area but definitely buy tickets online as it's cheaper and not guaranteed you'll be able to get in if you just turn up on the day.

What a great experience during the Easter holiday. It was busy but not overwhelming. The biomes are out of this world. Plenty of facilities and places to have a picnic. We also really like the Core exhibition as well as immersive play area for the kids.
Not cheap but so worth it to explore and appreciate the beauty of nature.

I visited October 2023 but i am just reviewing now, after looking at booking another trip.
It was a fantastic day out with so much to do, we loved the domes, with all the different plants and animals to see, the food in the Mediterranean dome was really good!
It took us about 4 hours to get round, there was still plenty to do even on a rainy day! We can’t wait to come back.

A brilliant full day out, worth the entrance price what ever the weather. Lots to do inside and out. Perfect for children and could stay 5+ hours. Really interactive and intriguing place to wander and explore

A fantastic site. The domes were really interesting particularly the Rainforest Biome. The food was generally great value and very healthy in the main restaurant. Lots of smaller things for kids to do as well. Easily can take up the whole day here. Be prepared to walk a lot.

My only negative is the entry tickets felt fairly expensive but apart from that. It was great.

Queue, queue and queue again! We visited in the school holidays on a particularly wet and windy day.
The whole site was incredibly busy which made it difficult to get around and to actually enjoy the experience. The restaurant areas were rammed with nowhere to sit, despite purchasing food there (many tables taken up by picnics)
The flowers and plants are beautifully kept and the site is very impressive though, so it would be lovely to return on a drier day in term time to enjoy it when it’s quieter!

Visit this place while visit Cornwall. Lucky we get free enter as we buy lottery and just show the lottery ticket. Otherwise we must pay around £40 each
Place is huge. Beautiful.
Learn a lot from the dome. Lots of beautiful plants and flower from different countries. Outside the dome was cold but inside the dome felt ok. Actually warn as I feel normally in Bali 😅
Lots of parents with kids.
Food court also good.
Need few hours, at least 3 hours to explore all area. But if you come with kids then needore as there are playgrounds for them to play.
We are lucky at that time consider no crowd and no queues
Huge car park and wheelchair access available.
