East Kent College is a very conducive place of learning. I was impressed when I got there and I recommend this for anyone thinking about college around Kent Midway but on the axis of Ashford. Yeah, it's a very good place to learn. It's like, in fact, it's already emerging to become like a university status. Like, you can have the feel of university right there. So, I recommend. Cheers.

The best college within the World.

If you are local and or you need to catch a train to a college. I would 100% recommend Ashford College.

The best Teachers all round and i had a great experience. The support i received was amazing and again i would 100% Recommend.

I studied Health and Social Care within this college. Best college for that subject - Please consider!!!!!

A good college but there is some room for improvement. Some of the facilities for those with disabilities could be heavily improved. There’s a small area for students who struggle with disabilities but it is often full and right in the reception/cafe area, there needs to be a quieter, but larger space for those with sensory needs or disabilities where we can go and calm down from meltdowns or overstimulation or just in general.
The end of year art and photography show was lovely to take part in and gives students a chance to proudly show their work to those who visit.
Overall it’s a good college, the tutors are passionate about what they’re doing and I got into the university I wanted through them 🙂

Did my Am2 with this college, found the am2 manager really good and the assessment day very good, give 5 stars for the am2 manager and his centre (not located at the new site, it's on an industrial estate) Two stars for the main college admin staff, as rebooking a retake for one section was hassle, was asked to pay a substantial amount (over £400) to retake compared to what their website stated. When questioned, was told they made a mistake and the price was £220 to retake, website states £180, after a few emails back and fourth I was finally told the extra £50 was a remarking fee, be nice if they had a breakdown on the original email to save time and that the website mentions this. Also another student who attended the same time as me for his test wasn't booked in correctly and was sent away, had travelled 2 hours to get there and was nervous about his test. Have also been told by fellow students I've met they've found the admin side of the college poor and this is noted on the electricians forums previously. Tutors are good though, I recommend the am2 centre, just be nice if the admin side was sorted or the am2 centre which is a separate building had a dedicated team and a receptionist!

I have found this college to be very lacking in both Teaching and leadership, they don't seem to know what is going on. Teachers that show lack of respect to students, backed by Principals that don't follow up on promises. I would not send another of my children to this place.

I was looking at going back to college last year in September looked around a couple of college online and didn’t like them so I applied for Ashford college and they accepted me in October 2020, I have had a very enjoyable experience here the staff are fantastic with all support even when we had lockdown they were there when you needed them, I was studying hairdressing level 2 which in lockdown is really hard when you need to be hands-on with clients but our fantastic tutor got us through the course. Even with the college was on lockdown they allowed me to go in as I was classed High risk as they helped me with everything that I needed help with and they let me do my work in the e hub and the staff in there were brilliant and helped the best I could even if they didn’t know anything about hairdressing they were try and find it for me. I would highly recommend this college to anyone that is capable of doing something or even struggles in life because they will adjust to your needs. Thank you very much look forward to see you guys in September to do my level 3.

I am wondering if this is the same college I went to here in 1962-63, when it was called Ashford Technical College. Can anybody tll me? If so, I`d like to report that I had a FINE year, LONG before there were very many computers, learning such things as Typing, Pittman shorthand, Commerce, Economics, Deportment and Business French. After I returned to Canada, these courses supported me for a good part of my life. Thank you!
