Graham has been a trainer at our care home for the last 10 years, providing all our training requirements from all mandatory courses such as Moving & Handling, fire etc etc to more specific courses such as Diabetes, falls prevention etc. As the Manager of the home I find that Graham will always discuss any specific issues with me that we may have or areas we want to cover in more detail so that he can tailor the courses around our needs.

The staff over the years have always enjoyed Grahams training giving consistent positive feedback. Graham really is part of our team and will be happy to train the staff wherever is convenient, whether that is in the garden, summerhouse, under a pagola or at a different venue.

As Graham has had previous experience in managing care homes he can appreciate and understand the reality of our environment and the issues the staff encounter daily, so will always act as an ear to the staff as well as giving possible solutions.

When we have had Inspections from CQC Graham is always happy to speak with the Inspectors to assist them in understanding the training that is provided to the staff.

Mandy is another trainer working for Graham / Elgee training and will provide more clinical training to our staff such as End of Life Care, Sepsis, Skin Integrity etc. With Mandy having a Nursing background she is also able to answer any questions the staff may have. Mandy is such a calm, caring person the staff love learning from her as she will give them all the time they need to understand more complex areas.

We are a family run home and using company's to support us in what we do that are also family run, like Elgee training, is so important as you really to get that personal touch.
