The only reason this isn't a 1 star review is that I miss the sink inside the room, the wired internet was godly and I liked the people in my corridor. There wasn't a sink in the toilet, the kitchen is smaller than the cleaning cuboard and only contains the following things, a fridge, microwave and a kettle. Between the bed which is so thin you can feel the grate underneath and the desk which is admittedly alright there is so little space you cannot spin around in a circle. If you like the prison experience, live here. A whole year which is longer than quite a few prison sentences.

Clean and tidy.
Covid guidelines are very much in evidence and the safety of all has been thoroughly met.
I've given 4 stars but only because the building looks a little worn.
But the facilities are good and the rooms are a good size.

Worst place I have ever had the misfortune of living. Practically solitary confinement with one toilet between 6 people and NO WINDOW! The lights are yellow and the halls are dingy and the entire place stinks!!! Do NOT live here, avoid it at all costs. You might think you’re getting a deal because it’s catered but the restaurant prices are extortionate. Avoid Eliot and Rutherford as they’re sister buildings!

Definitely needs a refurb. Kitchen is more of cupboard. Can hear Venue Nightclub at night from one of the sides of the building meaning can't really get good sleep.

If you like living in historic old building with small rooms, steamed pipes heating system and a rock for a bed, a window that opens no longer than an inch as well as 1 toilet to share between 8 people and 2 bathroom with water speeds of 3 drops per second then this is for you, and I won't forget to mention the flatmates who grace us with the wonderful smell and experience of microwaved chicken and eggs out of desperation for real food.
