I started my apprenticeship with EMA over 6 months ago as it was recommended to me by a close friend.

During the application process Hannah was extremely helpful, she always replied to my emails really fast and she was very supportive in regards to my interviews as I was very nervous. Hannah even offered to have a teams call to do a mock interview to help me feel more confident!

Once I began learning in the classroom I settled in straight away, the sessions are once a week and are set out in a way which really helps you to get the most out of the day. Hollie is an amazing teacher and is always really clear when teaching the material, also if there is anything that you may have struggled on she is more than happy to take the time to sit with you and go through it again.

In regards to the Portfolio, my mentor Rob is incredible, I always receive in depth feedback and support and if I am ever struggling with something he will try and explain in the best way possible.

All of the staff at EMA are lovely and kind, and I always feel like I have somebody to speak to if needed. I can’t recommend EMA enough and I hope to continue studying with them through level 4 and potentially further!

I am current student with EMA doing my AAT level 3 and I can't recommend them enough! Everyone within the organisation is so kind a friendly, not to mention incredibly helpful. They make sure you're interview ready, offering advice and motivation as needed, and are rally with you for the whole process. They also really consider your requirements in a job when helping search for a position.
When it comes to mentoring, the mentors have a lot of time for their students and really do go above and beyond when it comes to helping us get our work done. There's never a moment with my portfolio work when I feel like I'm in it alone because I know if I get stuck, I can just email my mentor.
For the teaching, I personally really love the way it is set out, going into the classroom once a month to spend time with a tutor going through workbooks and question packs. Before the apprenticeship even started I was given a delivery schedule, so I always know what to expect when I go into the classroom, and know exactly when each exam is. The exams are well laid out with each exam directly following each learning module, usually with a revision session beforehand. It is a very effective way to learn, moving quickly and learning a lot but never overwhelming.

The last thing I will say ties in nicely with each point made. The support given at EMA is second to none. From finding a job, to portfolio work, to learning and exams there is always someone there to help and to answer any questions, but EMA also really focuses on Safeguarding and mental health, not only for apprentices, but for their own staff too. It is incredible to see such a genuinely caring company who really make you feel like you're not alone and you're safe.

For anyone considering apprenticeships in accountancy, digital marketing, payroll, or IT & Software, EMA is the place to study.
