I really enjoyed this place. I took my kids here for a swim on my visit to the Lake District. It was such a wonderful day. My kids loved it. The staff was very helpful, polite, and kind, the place was clean, well designed and organised. The pool was approximately 4 feet deep and not too crowded. They even have a sauna to relax the muscles after a workout.
The gym is ideally located on the ground floor just below Sports Direct, so just in case you forget something, you get it upstairs. Really recommend this place

Really good gym have been working out here now for a good few months never had a problem. There are always plenty of classes on if you're into classes but if not the gym has lots of machines/free weight areas + loads of cardio machines at your disposal. Staff are so so nice and really friendly. Haven't asked any of them for help personally but have seen them stop and take a good chunk of time out of their day to help people that need it.

There is also a nice shop area for everlast gear and also an area where you can get smoothies + protein shakes and obviously they sell refrigerated drinks over the counter too.

Great gym would recommend to anyone. It is quite expensive but defo worth it!

Hot water keeps going off, changing rooms not cleaned regularly, equipment broken for weeks on end. Staff turnover pretty frequent. Jacuzzi booked off rather than being fixed. Generally run down or being run down, no regular refresh or update. All issues reported but staff unable to reassure they will ever be resolved. Shame as it was the best in town!

Everlast gym in Barrow is excellent. Compared to the Blackburn branch, it's cleaner, less crowded, and better equipped. The swimming pool is great, and the shower rooms are clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside, common to all Everlast branches, is early closing times, especially on weekends. This can be inconvenient for those working late.

Its a decent gym from what I can see and the equipment is fairly vast, having a hip thrust is quite a good piece to have that not even some commercial gyms have. My lack of two stares is the fragrant disregard to hygiene in the steam room and showers. The black spots are definitely mould indicative so that's my mark down. Over time, the smell will likely get worse and that's currently still quite pungent. But overall good gym if you aren't looking to relax after a long day.

Unhygienic, dirty and badly maintained changing rooms and especially shower facilities. Despite complaining many times nothing changes, staff don't seem to care, would rather sit on reception counter chatting or on their phones. One of the showers has been running constantly since January 2024 that I know of, what a waste of water!! I've complained verbally and by email to the manger but no reply.
I don't recommend Everlast at all.

Good classes. Good equipment. Nice size pool.
But hot tubs seem to be broken a lot or only one of them is on. When equipment is broken very slow to fix it.
Taken away blue roll so not able to wipe down equipment the same. See people spinning and sweating a lot and bikes not cleaned afterwards 🤮
