Kerry came to help us with Rosie. I loved her training methods, gentle, based on gradual reward and positive reinforcement. She is super professional, sent the manual in advance and this covered a lot more than what we did in training lessons. Well worth having private lessons and really looking forward to join her advanced lessons . Thank you for being a wonderful dog ( and human) trainer

We got an 8 week old puppy and were struggling with how to handle him. We knew we needed some help right away for both our sleep and sanity! We opted for the home visits and Kerry was able to accommodate us really quickly (we needed the help fast!)

During the training Kerry showed us some very important and impactful training to start giving our dog some focus and gave us some really helpful advice alongside it.

Did it work? Yes! With Kerry’s help we’ve kept up what she taught us and our lovely little dog can recall on command and we can divert his focus away from all the naughty things he likes to do.

If you have the chance to take either the group or home visits with Kerry book in right away as you, your dog and your home will thank you later 🙏

We went with Exemplar after being recommended from almost every dog owner in Starcross… We have completed two 1-2-1 sessions with Kerry for our very excitable 6 month old Labrador and it is the best thing we could have done for him! My 11 year old daughter and myself attended the Puppy foundation and plus courses. Kerry is an excellent trainer and has an extremely positive style, which made the classes very enjoyable. Kerry also has a wealth of experience and expert knowledge and is happy to answer any question we asked. Each class has a follow up email too which is really useful.
Kerry was excellent on staying up to date with all the Covid restrictions and was extremely professional which made us feel very safe during the training.
We've already recommended Exemplar to our friends who’ve recently become dog guardians and they too have also been very impressed.

We contacted Kerry at EXEmplar Dogs on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. The classes were really well organised and the communication between Kerry and myself was brilliant and really thoughtful. At the classes we learnt some really helpful tips on training our little dog LIli and more importantly ourselves! Understanding a dog's behaviour and how they learn is totally key and this is definitely what we learnt from the classes! Thank you to Kerry and Claire for all your brilliant teaching and support. Luna and I have had excellent 121 sessions with Kerry. Having taken on a rescue pup who was slightly older we were keen to ensure we had the skills to make her feel safe whilst learning essential skills but also giving us confidence in how best to help her settle with us. Kerry is very passionate and knowledgeable and this is infectious. The intro information and catch up notes are really helpful as there is so much to take in at the time. Kerry has also given us loads of useful enrichment tips. I don't know who was more tired after all the learning me or Luna !!!!
