I can highly recommend Exeter Yoga Workshop. It is a very well equipped yoga studio. All teachers are great but particular Chris and Yulia are amazing. All teachers make you feel welcome and at ease. They also show you how to improve at your own pace. They offer classes for all levels. If you like to challenge yourself you certainly but can but if not there are easier classes. They really do cover everything. Do go there and enjoy! 🙂

I would thoroughly recommend the 8 week beginners course.
I was nervous before attending my first ever yoga class but Chris soon puts you at ease. The course is well structured and relaxed with a touch of humour which helps!
I have felt more benefits both physically and mentally than I could have hoped for and my confidence is growing. Thank You Chris

As a very definite not-a-yoga-type, I was expecting to feel intimidated by all the serene perfect bendy people, but I was so wrong! I felt welcomed and looked after in the 8 week Beginner's Group. Chris is a natural teacher who has a way of making you feel like you're not out of your depth, and responding to the varying abilities in the group. I noticed little changes within a couple of weeks, both physically and mentally - all I did was show up, and it really is true that progress is inevitable! I feel very lucky to have stumbled into this place!

Excellent studio with a range of fantastic instructors and classes for all levels. First started yoga here a year ago now it’s a part of my weekly routine. Highly recommend, both for locals looking to support their work-life balance and for people just passing through town in need of good session to keep their body moving.

Exeter Yoga Workshop is a beautiful space and well equipped studio to practice in. Teachers Chris and Yulia are exemplary! Every moment with them is valuable as their attention to detail is phenomenal and I constantly feel like I am learning and my practice is progressing on every level. As well as providing appropriate challenge they also support with genuine kindness and a fantastic sense of humour! There is a good variety of workshops and classes, plus studio membership makes them really affordable and accessible. Highly recommended! 🙂

Couldn't be happier with my recent choice to join...Yulia and Chris are easily the best teachers I've had - from the way each class session is sequenced (always with new variations I'd forgotten or never tried), to the guidance/ prompts, to the 'sidebars' about the philosophy behind it all. Also looking forward to getting involved in the workshops and intensives, which look absolutely brilliant...

I am on my last week of 8 weeks Intro to Yoga course at Exeter Yoga Workshop. I was really nervous going to my first ever yoga class, didn't really know what to expect and was worried I will look silly as a complete beginner and other people would look at me, but it's been the best 7 days out of my life in the last 7 weeks. Wednesdays have become my favourite day of the week and I can't wait to get in and just switch off from everything else. It's been truly transformative experience. Yoga teacher, Chris is absolutely amazing, explains everything in great detail, helps adjust Your body when it's needed, really patient, supportive, grounded and with great sense of humour. Yoga studio is beautiful and has this sense of calm and safety about it. Great people. I loved every minute, even though it's been painful at times. I highly recommend, I will definitely be signing up for monthly membership and continuing my journey in Yoga practice and if You are thinking about it and want to do something good for yourself, then do this. It definitely made the difference in my life and if You allow it, it will make a difference in Your life too.

Exeter Yoga Workshop is a first class studio and Yulia and Chris are wonderful teachers. My yoga practice has progressed and improved over the last year. There are a number of classes and I love the variety of sequences in the Restorative Yin Yoga class as well as the Hatha Yoga classes.
Ashtanga continues to challenge but there is a sort of comfort in its structured sequence. The workshops complement the regular classes and are thoughtfully planned and expertly conveyed providing something for every level. The Flight School workshop was great for learning more about how to move towards/into hand and shoulder balances.
Overall, highly recommended and value for money.
