Just returned from watching Dreamatorium, the Farnham Dance Summer show. It was an outstanding and extremely professional show. Amazing costumes, choreography and organisation. The teachers really worked wonders with the students, who all looked so happy to perform to an incredibly high standard. 7th show for us, and it’s been a delight to watch my daughter grow in technique and confidence and she’s made lifelong friends. Our daughter, Beatrice, has been learning ballet with Farnham Dance now for four years and took up tap and modern in addition 18 months ago. Beatrice loves her classes, all the teaching is of a high quality and she has made excellent progress, having already reached grade 2 ballet and gained fabulous results in her exams. Farnham Dance put on superb dance productions as well to showcase their pupils’ talents; these are inclusive, exciting and highly polished shows which give the children wonderful memories - Beatrice can’t wait for the next one!

My daughter was nearly 9 when she started grade 2 ballet with Farnham Dance. She is now 12 and has passed 2 exams with Distinctions thanks to the encouragement and expert guidance from Mrs Barnard. She has also thoroughly enjoyed participating in two marvellous shows with great creative vision from the dance teachers. She has developed a real passion for ballet and Mrs Barnard has been extremely supportive, using her contacts and extensive experience to help her find additional courses and teachers to compliment the lessons with Farnham Dance. We love Farnham Dance but don't just take my word for it.... A quote from my daughter:

My daughter attends ballet classes at Farnham Dance and they are absolutely fantastic. Miss Elizabeth is an amazing teacher who is able to explain complex ideas in ways that are perfect for the young students to understand easily whilst also having lots of fun! I would definitely recommend this school for anyone looking for ballet classes for their child.

My 15 year old has been dancing with Farnham Dance since she was 6, starting in the primary grade. 6 grades and 4 fantastic shows later, plus a late addition of tap and modern, she is still really happy here and gets a huge amount of joy from her dancing. Having met parents from other dance schools, I would say that the ethos is extremely balanced and inclusive, without the overly high pressure and extreme competition I have seen other girls go through elsewhere. But despite this lower pressure atmosphere the girls produce a high standard of exam results and are all able to be involved in an incredibly professional bi-annual show which takes place in a proper theatre. Parents are positively encouraged to get involved if they want to, and I’ve also made many friends this way. I find Fiona a very professional, thoughtful and kind teacher - and despite my daughter being a typical slightly uncommunicative teen, I’m fairly certain she would agree with me! I think it says a lot that at the grand old age of 15 she still gets excited about lessons, and eagerly anticipates each show from the minute the previous one ends.

Excellent dance school! My 10 year old daughter has been attending since she was 2 and she loves all her classes. Highlight is the summer show which is put on every other year and is thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The dance teachers are amazing and lots of support is given to all students in classes and in preparation for dance exams.
