I just recently completed my UPRT training at FPT and wow! What a wonderful experience. From the moment you walk through the door until you walk out they completely take care of you and make you feel right at home. There is a ton of knowledge and experience between all the instructors who are willing to take there time to answer any questions. Despite the bad weather in January in the UK the team done everything they could to have our course completed on time and they even got us done one day early. Can’t thank the team enough and couldn’t recommend FTP more for your UPRT training! 10/10

The facility is really nice and the welcome is top notch.
Fantastic people, instructors with huge experience.
I personally flew with Phil Shaw and I can say that he is truly the best instructor and pilot I have flown with so far!
I recommend anyone involved in this journey to do the UPRT course here, you will have a fantastic experience!

As a Private Pilot I believe it is extremely important to continue developing skills that improve knowledge, competency and safety.

I have had the great pleasure to meet the team at Flight Performance Training, where I have embarked on the Advanced Upset Prevention & Recovery course.

Whilst this course isn’t mandatory for a PPL holder, I would highly recommend it. The knowledge and handling skills I have learned and experienced, have not only been an eye opener, but have given me much more confidence, a far deeper and clearer understanding, and a new layer of protection.

Thanks to Captain Philip Shaw, who is an awesome fountain of experience and knowledge. His breadth of experience is second to none and he has a lovely teaching style and a great sense of humour.

FPT is a family business and it was so refreshing to see the whole family involved lead by Adrian and Carolin the owners.

I have not only found a a valuable source of future training, but I feel like I have found new friendships and a team of people genuinely interested in my development, wellbeing and safety.

Highly recommended.

Chose to do my EASA/CAA UPRT with FPT. And honestly wish i was there for longer than two days. Had a great time with everyone involved. Theory and Practical was immersive and fun. Instructors with a plethora of knowledge, not just in UPRT/Aerobatics but in Commercial Flying itself. Many thanks to everyone there and making my short time there so good. Hopefully see you in the future for my Aerobatic Rating :)..

Had to do my advanced UPRT course in a very short time, with very short notice and in less than ideal circumstances.

FPT was able to accomodate this perfectly. The course is very well structured and thought out. All staff was very friendly and the instructors were top notch, both with experience in aerobatics. Very safe and efficient operation, cannot recommend it enough for aUPRT and/or Aerobatic Rating.
