Just completed the 10 day training course and well where to start. Seth and Joe aka the A team. If you could have chosen your teachers at school these 2 would be first on your list. Our group had a mixture of skill sets from complete novices to some experienced. Every single one of us learnt new skills and every single one of us managed to do what was taught over the last 10 days and complete the end exams. To be able to teach complete novices to carry out a high number of jobs required by a locksmith in 10 days is a huge achievement. Any problems or questions were answered with explanations by both Seth and Joe. They clearly have alot of experience in the industry and are not closed off from sharing that knowledge to beginners willing to put the effort in. I enjoyed the course massively and i would not hesitate to recommend their course to anyone looking to get their foot in the door of locksmithing. I will 100% be returning for further training when it becomes available. I appreciate the time and effort from both Seth and Joe that helped me and my group achieve what was needed in the course. Thanks again guys and i look forward to visiting the centre again very soon.

Thoroughly enjoyed both times I've attended fortress locksmith training. Seth has bundles of energy and is obviously excellent at his craft.
Plenty of hands on learning, backed up with hints and tips il carry with me throughout my locksmith career.
All courses I've attended have been well run, all tools needed were provided and time taken to explain and practice each method being taught.

All in all a great time with a good few laughs and I've met some other locksmiths who il be keeping in touch with to share the ups and downs of the trade!

What can I say, I did the 10 day nde course before actually setting up my business. Without a doubt, it was the best decision I have ever made. The course was well structured and delivered with expert knowledge and enthusiasm even down to the dreaded "Panic room." There were 4 others on my course, and 3 of those had zero knowledge of doors, locks, etc, and I'm pretty sure they left confident that they could tackle most things. Seth and Joe made sure that we all understood the lessons being delivered and were always on hand to advise during the practical side with little tips and hints. There are other courses that are available, and when time allows, I will be enrolling.
Finally, the aftercare. Seth and Joe have always been available to help when I've been on site with a problem and have been stuck, which has allowed me to complete the job and have happy customers.

I recently attended the three-day mortice locksmith course at Fortress Locksmiths training, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Having had very little prior knowledge, I left the course feeling confident in my new skills.

Seth, the trainer, is excellent—his teaching style is clear, engaging, and tailored to ensure every students fully understand the techniques. The sense of achievement when successfully opening a mortice is incredible.

What truly sets this course apart is the aftercare. Seth provided us with his contact details, so if we encounter any issues on-site, we can reach out for support, which is invaluable.

Additionally, I had the opportunity to stay behind for a 121 bump key session with Seth. His bump keys are by far the best I’ve used, effortlessly opening locks within seconds.

I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to develop their locksmithing skills.

Went and did a UPVC course here in August. Turned out to be the best thing I've done to boost business ,now doing emergency boarding and glazing aswell as the locksmith side plus learned some really handy techniques !
The glass replacement jobs on their own have paid for the course 3 x over in just a few months after . Kudos to Seth Spencer and Joe , they really do know their stuff. Great course 5 star

What can I say? A fantastic course which was led by an instructor with boundless energy and enthusiasm. Seth is a master of his art and has a natural ability to impart his knowledge in an easy going, infectious, enthusiastic and ineresting way. Anyone who needs to up their skill levels as a locksmith should book on to one of Seth's courses. Fortress Locksmith Training must be at the forefront of their field in the UK, they have the latest tools and equipment to allow you to practice in a 'real life' way. Fortress Locksmith Training are highly recommended.

3 day Mortice Course 05/02- 07/02

This is 3rd time I've been up to train with lads at Fortress , so I knew what to expect , but with the other two course I already had an idea what i was doing ,and just wanted to hone my skills . With this Course and especially the tools we were using day 2 and 3 I would have considered myself a novice . Joe and Seth meticulously went through several Non Destructive Entry methods , until satisfied that the 4 of us students were proficient before moving on . There was no stupid questions and everyone was made to feel at home . First day back on jobs I came across a Union 5 lever and opened it NDE in less than 15 minutes with a tool I wouldn't have even known how to use a week prior .
One thing that all teachers have including Seth is immendse knowledge. But the most important things that most teachers don't have is energy and enthusiasm about their subject and that's what sets these boys apart . They bleed Locksmithing .
