Bit disappointing and the exhibition feels like it’s the wrong way round. Like you need to walk all the way to the far end and then come back to the entrance to really understand it.

Beautiful building but I was expecting a lot more
In terms of the exhibition space and content, especially as some is so interesting and then it’s just ‘ scan the qr code and read in your phone’

Pitty!

Great space to visit with kids, their free exhibition ‘hello brain’ is interactive and they have a soft play area out in the cafe with a shelf of books and games for older kids! Recommend if your looking for a welcoming free space

We visited the free Hello Brain exhibition yesterday and all enjoyed it (adults and children ranging from 6-11). It’s not huge but there is lots packed in and it’s so interesting. Really hands on- you get to use all your senses. The cafe and toilets were clean and the staff were helpful. There’s a toddler area with toys plus games and books of interest for older children. Remember it’s not open on Mondays and Tuesdays. Right opposite the station in a beautiful building.Worth a visit and can combine with everything going on in the Kings Cross area/ British Library etc

Very small and rather haphazard exhibition on the brain. We were very disappointed as we expected a larger exhibition and much more, in depth, content. More aimed at youngsters rather than adults. My advice? Don't travel especially to see this exhibition. It is fine to pop in for a quick visit if you are already in the area. (The building was, also, stifling hot. Very uncomfortable.) Thankfully, there is lots to do in the area. Otherwise, it would have been a wasted journey as we only spent 15 minutes in the exhibition.

I recently visited the Francis Crick Institute for the first time, and I must say, it left a lasting impression on me. The design and architecture of the building are truly remarkable, capturing both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

What stood out to me the most was the dedicated area for free exhibitions open to the public, adding a layer of accessibility and community engagement to this already impressive institution.

This is an stunning place, but I went there to get my vaccination. The process was very smooth, the people in the place was absolutely helpful, caring and kind, from the entrance (The security guard is absolutely charming) to the exit. All the employees were very well trained, telling you exactly what to expect and what to do in the process. I hope you have a very nice experience as I had it. Good luck! 👍

Stunning building and well worth a visit for fans of modern architecture. The Francis Crick normally hosts events related to recent developments in medicine - seeking to explain the complex in comprehensible terms. But most of this has been interrupted by COVID and like many reviewers my reason for visiting recently was for my two vaccinations. The first one was administered painlessly by someone who worked in communications but had been trained to administer vaccines.
