We spent 3 days last week doing Michelle's brilliant wool sculpture Masterclass. She was very attentive throughout, from the booking process, the back and forth to decide what each of us wanted to make, to ensuring we had a good time and ended up with a result we were happy with! The little details like offering (paid for) a signed copy of the book with a personalised voucher to act as a present, the included food orders by the cafe next door, the regular offers for a drink while we were trying our best to create our sculpts...

This was a present for my wife's 40th. I wanted it to be a great experience, and it didn't disappoint!! more the opposite. She was delighted to having spent some days with Michelle, learning more techniques for her favourite hobbie of needle felting. Would certainly recommend to anyone.

Just spent two fabulous days at Furzie's wonderful (fully air conditioned)
workshop. We stayed in a holiday cottage not far from the workshop in Barrington. I am fairly new to needle felting and am very keen to learn all the difference techniques. I am finding it to be a very inspiring and rewarding hobby.
My first day was a one to one session . It was good to learn how to make a wire frame as I hadn't done this before. I was then taught how to pad it out and then to felt my creature. I chose to make a squirrel. I was shown how to work from a photograph. The felting techniques were fun to do and easy to learn. Michelle (Furzie) Was a great teacher. She took me through the process step by step. I learnt a great deal and loved my 'Furzie Squirrel '.
I had a fantastic time chatting with Michelle and a lovely lunch which was included in the price.
On my second day I was joined by two other ladies who both made a hare. It was enjoyable to chat about felting and other things during the day with like-minded people.
I highly recommend 'Furzies Workshops' and am looking forward to returning again soon.
She does one to one sessions, classes and will also travel to do a class for you if you have a group of friends who fancy having a go.

My son and I had the most amazing day with Michelle at Furzie. We enjoyed every minute of it and Michelle was an excellent teacher. We came away with some beautiful hares. We would not hesitate in recommending this felting course and will certainly be going back.
You also get an amazing lunch which is included in the cost.

Recently attended course after some previous dabbling with needlefelt. Comprehensive tuition from this skilled artist encouraged skills with use of tools and basic techniques, to use of armatures, and through to expressing our vision. Cant recommend enough.

A really great workshop yesterday at the Garden House with Michelle. Good fun, expertly tutored. Michelle combines real skill with a great sense of humour. We all ended up making passable felted hares at our first attempt at felting! Would thoroughly recommend a workshop with her.

An absolutely delightful venue, plenty of parking and easy to find.

I had a fantastic day needle felting. Michelle was an excellent tutor so positive and encouraging ensuring all three of us on the workshop fully understood the methods. The structure and pace was perfect and we all were completely blown away by what we had achieved in a day which totally flew by.

The lunch was really delicious which we had in the on-site cafe.

I enjoyed it so much that I am already planning a date when I can go back again with a friend who is now very keen to try needle felting.
