Well worth coming to do my NVQ @ Gold trowel for plastering, Shane had a wealth of knowledge and was always on hand to put me right and pass on his wide range of expertise.

The only downside is that I wasn't here for longer, however I've come away from them knowing the trade extensively.

Highly recommend if your looking at getting qualified.

I had a great experience at gold trowel academy. The facilities provided are spot on. Tools and materials provided. Shane, the instructor is a very welcoming lad. With a deep knowledge and hands on experience of plastering. Both the trade itself but also on the business side of things. Offering advice and input where ever he could. He made learning plastering a very enjoyable experience. Recommend if you are looking to learn the trade

Shane was awesome, helpfull and calm. Guided use through every process, and taught all we need to know and all we might need to know.

He was very supportive and helped, made you feel comfortable and confident in your work.

He was very knowledgeable and was open to informing you of everything, from equipment to material.

He earned more that a five star if possible!

I only done the 5 day intensive course but in that little time I’ve gained so much confidence and knowledge in the plastering trade. And it’s all thanks to Shane. There is nothing that bloke don’t know about plastering.
Highly recommend this course to anyone!

Great week on the 5 day course with Dan the instructor. Having barely picked up a trowel I am leaving with enough skills to undertake my DIY project - I hope! Thanks to all the Goldtrowel team and particularly Dan.

I entered the GT six week bricklaying course with no previous experience but on completion I had enough skills and confidence to change careers and work for myself as a builder. I found the course engaging, challenging and downright good fun. Stewart is an excellent instructor with vast knowledge and experience which he continues to share with me whenever I ring him for advice even now over a year since I completed my course. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn bricklaying. I'd love to do another another GT course if only I had the time.

Absolutely incredible course I feel comfortable and confident in my ability to plaster. Everything is covered in an intensely informative way by Shane (top bloke) a super knowledgeable and a very effective instructor. Loved it! Shout out to Andy also a great teacher.

Only done a 5 day course coming from little plastering experience, but Shane the instructor taught me to a top quality standard and very quickly my work was coming out in a good high standard , couldn’t recommend any one else
