Took the battery storage course earlier this week; I found the location to be great and modern. Graham the course tutor was extremely knowledgable, professional and generally a good guy to learn from. Will certainly look to attend any future course our company requires here

I attended the GTECH training centre for my Grant Oil Boiler course as it was the only centre in the North running them.

It is in a remote location, but also one of the most beautiful I’ve been to. The downsides can be the roads getting there and the lack of reasonably priced accommodation nearby. However, I did find a great room only place on AirBNB which I’d return.

The very centre itself is in an industrial estate with lots of parking. It’s a very modern facility with the latest boilers, heat pumps and renewables. Everything looks brand new and very tidy.

Lunch was provided by Grant and was ok (sandwich and crisps), but I’d take something with you if you’re used to a little more or don’t like a particular type of food as you just have to agree with others as to which filling you’ll get. Any would do me though and certainly wouldn’t grumble when they’re free.

I did love the fact tea, coffee, milk, juice, and biscuits were provided by GTECH in a comfy and spotless canteen. It’s the little things like that which tell you a lot about a centre.

I had limited interaction with the GTECH staff, but from what I did have they seemed lovely.

I’d certainly return for future courses and will likely attend for the Grant ASHP course in the near future.

Out-of-date, poor quality training materials, delivered by a 'educator' who appeared unfamiliar with the content, and certainly hadn't bothered to prepare in any way. Waste of time and money. Poor customer service to top it all off. Strongly recommend using a different training provider.

Brilliant course completed this week at Gtec in Hawes. Great facilities and probably the most scenic training centre i have ever visited. Got everything i needed and more from the course and even got chance to meet the man, the myth, the legend that is Griff - some knowledge on that guy probably forgotten more than i will ever know. Thanks guys and no doubt see you again in the future.

Not a great place to do the solar course atall, the centre is in the middle of nowere. The facilities are very limited and just don’t seem fit for purpose it’s like a converted barn house. Just doesn’t seem right. Very limited welfare facilities with all attendees expected to share 1 toilet cubicle (my course had 10 people on it) I found the owner of the building down right rude, extremely patronising, very aggressive, and just extremely disrespectful person in general, I get the impression he thinks he’s something he’s clearly not! don’t know why though because he’s 2 foot tall and 3 foot wide. Also he doesn’t use the appropriate language that you would expect from somebody providing the solar course, so very disappointed in that respect! Don’t waste your money here there is a reason why they have courses available all the time and not always booked up like the other test centres. Just wait a bit longer to do the course elsewhere! Test centre is in Yorkshire dales in the middle of nowere, minimal food choices and very limited hotel options! Just a heads up to people because I wish I had been given the heads up about this place and person who runs the centre!
