My daughter has done a bachelors degree in animal management university course here, but it’s extremely badly organised with poor facilities . She’s being taught by college teachers rather than university lecturers. Travelling from home 2 hours to the college to find out teachers haven’t turned up and have a standing teacher that has no idea what’s going on was a regularly occurrence which has wasted a lot of valuable time over the three years.
Tutors aren’t particularly helpful and are not to university standards,
think twice before enrolling on a university course at this slightly rundown college.

Visited for the lambing weekend. Clearly great facilities for a school / college but this event just had too many visitors to be a pleasant experience. Long queues for everything, difficult to see anything because of the crowds and really very little to do with lambs...

I would’ve given no stars if it was possible!
I went to this college and they’re so unaware of mental health and don’t care about students just the money, they removed me for my mental health so due to a ‘disability’ I couldn’t get an education.
The horses aren’t well looked after either. Wouldn’t waste your time with this college.

A lot to like and some very knowledgeable/ friendly staff but I'm currently studying for my exams and the support has been awful. Our teacher is off work and has made no contact with us ( exam is tomorrow), our online content is not at all informative and our previous grades are still nowhere to be seen. The online revision content mentioned is of a very low quality and rushed, taken from Google with minimal thought or just recycled/old. In my experience, staff here will listen and appear to care but I can't think of a single occasion where action has been taken. Really disappointed, the class are all worried about the upcoming exams. Seems not a lot has changed in 2 years, really poor effort by a small portion of staff. Overall and somehow, I would still recommend Hadlow. There is a lot of positive stuff there and great potential but, unfortunately, this is not matched with teaching ability and commitment to students.

One year later: Still a joke. Semester starts next week and no timetable yet. Webmail is down so can't ask lecturers. Tried to call and resolve this but IT are off sick and I quote "no staff are in". Absolute shambles, you should all be ashamed of how you treat us.

Well it's not great. I'm fixing the porch roofs on the accommodation blocks. The sun is beating down and I'm using a self adhesive system that uses hot air guns rather than gas torches. I thought the price was very good, but it's not. Each roof is taking twice as much time. Also, for an agricultural college in a beautiful setting I'm surprised at the lack of wildlife. One Robin one squirrel and hundreds of wood pigeons. I'll let you know things change.
