Fantastic little campsite, with a 5 minute walk along the drive to premier shop (with local butchers inside) and pub next door.
Site is well maintained, with just a handful of mowed in pitches, but that’s my (and many other’s!) preference anyway.
Pitch 3 & 4 are immediately outside of the bathroom block making it easy access for less ambulatory people, although even the furthest pitch is just a minute or two walk away.
Dog friendly site provided they’re on leads, both electric and non electric pitches available, water access in both fields with strong water flow, waste water disposal area in electric pitch field, same with toilet and shower blocks which has fairy lights on for late night visits.
2 well maintained and clean wet-rooms (shower and toilet in same room) with large drains, disinfectant and a floor squeegee to make clean up simple. Large sink/washing up area in front of the bathroom block with hot water to make washing up much easier. Water pressure was good throughout.

Jen, site owner, was incredibly friendly and helpful, giving a brief overview of the site and local amenities. Even with the very relaxed atmosphere, standards are high, as the bathroom block was kept immaculate through her daily cleaning, plus cleaning supplies provided for visitors to clean up after themselves and a large Biffa bin accessible for general waste at the entrance to the site, did not see recycling point although we usually take ours home with us anyway.

Church bells tolled for every hour but not obnoxiously loud, it was rather comforting and enjoyable to listen out for.

Very close drive to Talland Bay, with a coastal 30 min (each way) walk that goes past a war memorial statue with a stunning view, down to the pebble beach. Small cafe and car park directly outside the beach.
20 minutes or so drive to Bocconoc, where we attended the steam fair.

Cost us £18 a night for two adults and a dog, with one campervan and one small tent. More than happy to pay that, although not sure what price breakdown was. We paid cash night one, and bank transfer night two, Jen visited both days to take payment, very easy and relaxed process.
We will likely be returning in future!

Highly recommend for those looking for a quiet camping (or glamping in the 2 available shepherds huts) getaway to Cornwall.

Lovely campsite. Inwas travelling by bike and was not able to reach my planned destination so I called them and the person responsable for the campsite directly accepted that I stay for the night. She welcomed me very nicely, thanks. Farm campsite that care for the environnement, love that. Pubs and groceries nearby.

A warm welcome awaits at this lovely little campsite close to Looe and Polperro. Site is very quiet and peaceful, facilities are basic but clean and adequate. Nearby shop and pub provide all you need so supermarket not necessary.

We have just had five fab nights here, the site is excellenty maintained, showers, toilets very clean and Jen is very friendly and helpful, village is lovely with two shops and pubs one being an old school converted which we loved , the jubilee is also an excellent pub with a big garden , really enjoyable stay , we walked to polperro and Looe around 1.45 hrs at a easy pace , bus back to village , 2min walk to site from the village, buses run around every two hours so check the times , thanks Jen for a trully lovely stay 😊

What a delightful camp site, an absolute gem.
We arrived after a weeks worth of rain so the ground was very wet and as such we needed the owners help with getting our caravan on the pitch. Nothing was too much trouble and Jenny and Giles soon had us sorted.
The site is very clean with free hot water showers. Just a three minute walk from the nearest shop and five minutes from the village pub. Lots of nice walks for our dog.
We will certainly be regulars at this lovely little site.

What a wonderful hidden gem!
The only reason I don't want to give 5 stars is so it doesn't get to busy.
Lovely location with two pubs locally and a nice shop just across the road.
Only a 1:30hr walk to polperro and 2 hrs to Looe.
Clean, hot showers. the owners are lovely and accommodating. We were able to turn up early after a very long drive and leave early morning for the drive home.
Would highly recommend staying here especially for such a good price.
