Jake was a brilliant teacher. Really thorough and knowledgeable.
Made 6 days of commercial training and assessment a pleasure.
All the staff were helpful, friendly and professional. The centre is well set up and run really well.

Recently I had my first ACS resit here & I'm glad I did. The staff were very welcoming & friendly. My assessor I had was Howard, he was very understanding, helpful & made me feel at ease whilst doing the course. I would 100% recommend this place for anyone that's about to take their resits. Will be back in 5 years. Very satisfied. Also Jhon was very friendly and helpful. He talked us through the course, giving us a refresh on the first day.

Writing on behalf of my husband so these are his words -
Having just been through the joys of Gas Reassessment with Jake and Howard. I just wanted to put it out there to all plumbers, gas fitters, sparks. I have finally found a place where the instructors, staff and trainers are professional, respectful and will help you though this course. John the boss is incredibly good looking - he told me to say that. Having a few months ago attended another local instatutuion, where it felt like they had no interest in trying to get you through the course, seeming more interested in their end of term BBQ. Come along and enjoy the free biscuits 🙂

I did my ACS re assessment and being my first one I was very nervous but the guys were very reassuring. My assessor Howard was absolutely brilliant. Top man! See you all in 5 years highly recommend.

I done an electrical course over 4 years ago at HTAA. I’m writing this review because I don’t wish for anyone else to fall victim and invest their hard earned money and hopes into this course. Before handing your money over you will be told everything you want to hear in terms of becoming industry ready at the end of your course. But please beware….

You gain zero site experience and zero recognition or a respectful qualification. If you want to be an ELECTRICIAN you need to do the same time served course (4 year apprenticeship) as every other ELECTRICIAN in the country. I am now a fully qualified electrician with my hard earned gold card and wish I knew this before doing this Mickey Mouse course. What these training centres offer is merely basic knowledge and can lead to dangerous results to people willing to believe they can take short cuts into this industry.

When I told my experiences of this course to a very wise old school spark who played a big part in my training, he gave me a phrase which stuck with me every time I reflected on my mistake of enrolling in this 6 week course.

“You see the pot of gold on the top of the mountain but you don’t see the mountain you have to climb to get there”.

Please, do your research before throwing away thousands of pounds.
