I really enjoyed my stay here last month when attending an event nearby. I dropped off my bag in the morning and that was no hassle. The location is perfect for accessing Waterloo station and the surrounding areas. Some of the rooms look like they've been refurbished recently but mine was an older style room. The bed was great and the room was generally very quiet which made for a good nights sleep. The free breakfast was a bonus with plenty to choose from. I also loved the mini convenience store located in reception, I arrived to check-in late at night so this was handy for picking up a drink and a snack. I'd stay here again and would highly recommend to others.

The service was outstanding! Knowledgeable Helpful friendly staff. Especially Yash Jinde, Marshall Francis and Tahmim Miah! Clean rooms, very helpful and Great Coffee. Breakfast is outstanding with hot buffet good food and beverages. Highly recommend this hotel.|Walking distance to train station buses and the Tube.

The hotel boasts a fabulous central location – just minutes from the tube station and within easy walking distance to the London Eye and Westminster. Perfect base for sightseeing!||The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always ready with a smile and some helpful advice. Our room was clean and tidy, with towels changed daily. A nice added bonus was the small fridge and kettle in the room – great for a quick cuppa or keeping drinks cold after a day of exploring.||Breakfast -a wide variety of cooked options, fresh fruit, cereals, and even a waffle station! There was truly something to suit everyone. Despite being busy at times, the breakfast area was well-organized and efficiently run, with food, coffee, and cutlery constantly being restocked. ||The only negative was their shop and go in the main foyer. Great idea but the prices are extremely high. ||All in all, a great experience. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely return.

I give this hotel a top review. Good value for money. Great location: not too many tourists, close to Waterloo station.
Inside the room, tea and coffee. Very spacious twin room with 2 large windows. Not a bad view.
I enjoyed the breakfast. Plenty of healthy options, but also waffles for example.
Friendly staff. We left there our bags for a few hours, then we had tea in the lobby.
The hotel is very big, there is a fitness centre.
I would say the hotel is good both for business travellers and holidays. Also suitable for families with children.
One thing I would improve is the quality of coffee at breakfast. I took a cortado, which should be stronger and more aromatic.
Otherwise, a perfect place in London. For shorter and longer stays.

Just checked out this morning. Wow what a fantastic hotel located 5 minutes walk from Waterloo Station. We were checked in quickly and allocated room 460 which has internal window but that's OK we weren't there for the view. The hotel is very modern and well maintained as was the room. Very large flat screen tv, in room safe, iron and ironing board, air conditioning and heating. Lovely touch was the welcome text asking if everything was OK....great idea 💡 we didn't realise a free breakfast was included.....so you'd think that was going to be a bit dodgy.....but it was absolutely amazing. We were also impressed by the transport links nearby.....directly opposite the hotel is a bus stop with routes to get you into central London and Victoria area....so easy. Nearby are numerous bars and restaurants. We will DEFINITELY stay here again!

My stay at the Hampton by Hilton Waterloo was unfortunately very frustrating and far below Hilton’s usual standards. As a Hilton Honors member, I’ve stayed at many different locations.

To start, the staff were consistently rude and dismissive throughout the trip — both to myself and my mother. We were polite and patient about the issues we encountered, but were repeatedly treated like we were a nuisance rather than valued guests.

One of the most uncomfortable aspects was the flickering lights in our room, which gave us both headaches. Despite reporting it early, nothing was fixed by the time we returned at night. When I followed up, I was told maintenance had left for the day and someone would call me back. After hours of waiting with no call, I was finally told, “Well, aren’t you checking out tomorrow?” I was stunned by the response. Regardless of the check out date, we should not have to put up with a headache-inducing light issue all night.

Elevators/lifts were another persistent problem. Only one of the three elevators/lifts seemed to work most of the time, leading to long waits and overcrowding. Not what you’d expect from a hotel of this size. We also participated in the housekeeping incentive (skip cleaning for two nights to receive £5 per night), but staff were rude when we asked about the vouchers. After much hassle, we only received one instead of two.

To top it off, the attached restaurant was a complete disaster. The host/waiter was condescending and unwelcoming. When we asked if the chicken wings were spicy, we were told they were “very lightly” spiced. What we received were bright red, overwhelmingly spicy wings that were barely edible. Additionally, the chicken breast dish ordered didn’t even resemble proper meat. It was so tough I couldn’t cut through it with a knife and fork.

The only positives were the location, which is fantastic for visiting sights (ex. Big Ben, the London Eye, and Borough Market) and the complimentary breakfast. The food got repetitive quickly but that is to be expected.

Overall, this stay was a major letdown. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless proximity to tourist sites is your only concern.

This was a great hotel with a fantastic breakfast that is included. The elevators were a little suspect. One of the 3 was down for our full stay and on the day we checked out, a second was down. Other than that, it was great. The staff was great. The location is ok. We would consider staying here again.

We travelled for Valentine's weekend 2 adults with 2 children, 2 separated rooms.
The hotel was excellent, food was very tasty, customer service was excellent also.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the manager also was very helpful.
Our rooms was spotless, very well equipped.
The location is excellent very close to public transport, also walking distance to all the main attractions.
The hotel is way much better than many other 4°hotels we used to stay in.
